- Join us as we embark on an fabulous motorcycle journey through the historic landscapes of Normandy. Starting in Caen, we ride our way to Arromanches where the remnants of the Allies' innovative Mulberry Harbours are on display. The ride continues to a hidden gem for a delightful lunch, offering spectacular views of the promontory.
This episode features a unique experience as I swap motorcycles with Naim, getting a taste of his Royal Enfield Bullet 500. We rev our engines towards the Longues-Sur-Mer German Gun Battery, delving into the stories of the past as we explore the ominous German bunkers.
We also encounter a fleet of Mash Sidecar Motorcycles, blending modern biking with historic ambiance. The day's journey concludes with a ride to Omaha Beach, a site that played a crucial role for the Americans in the Allied Invasion during WWII.
My friend Marty, on his Kawasaki Er-6n, and Naim on his Bullet 500 join me, making this motorcycle tour an adventure of camaraderie and history.

There's a lot more episodes relating to WWII History, from the beaches and bunkers of Normandy to taking the Bullet up to the Eagle's Nest in Germany, if that takes your interest!

Excellent viewing as usual, very interesting, will we see you touring more in the UK, maybe you have already in addition to your recent Wales trip 👍🏻
Thanks Adrian! No plans for this year, but certainly next year 😁 With any luck will be the south of England this time, although I do have a plan for a tour of Scotland too, much to do and little time to do it !
Monsieur Saddlebags habite Cornwall.🤗
I know, just a little joke hehe 😉
Oui 😁👍🏼
Nice introduction for proposed trip in September - but Oh no!, yet more concrete mixer soundtrack, rather like another channel by a tin miner pretending to come from far west of England but really Welsh!
Concrete mixer soundtrack ? A tin miner pretending to be from the West of England ? I’m not sure I understand your comment 😅
@@BulletWanderer Apologies - having endured endless hours of SB videos, ( and enjoyed!), coming across yet more Indian one rpm soundtrack is hilarious, aka concrete mixers, and SB is not Cornish etc etc?
