Thank you for sharing your awesome Video. The Fury Maxx is great piece of history. It could keep up with the mighty Geforce256. Today i bought mine and can't wait to have it. I couldnt afford the Maxx by Release. Hope the Maxx will work with Aopen AK72 Slot A Setup.
I think this may have been a last minute decision by Ati to pute the two Rage chipsets into one card and make it function in a synchronizing method. But the thing is, I don't think the two rage chipsets were designed that way, in comparison to the VSA-100 chipsets found in Voodoo 4 and 5 video cards. I think if Ati did design a graphics chipsets that would function in a synchronizing method from the ground up, then the MAXX would have been a good competitor to the other graphics cards. Oh, well. At least Ati tried.
Great job! I am surprised this card works so good on this mobo! So far I thought it doesn't work with Intel Solano chip-set... - I tried on ABIT ST6 with the same CPU you used - no success... So what are the exact drivers that you used for this card?
Just picked one up and the only motherboard out of the 4 agp motherboards I have that worked was a gigabyte mobo with an apollo 133a chipset. Kind of sad because that was my Voodoo 3 PC and I was hoping to install it in another computer. I guess ATI really didn't make much of a splash with this card haha.
Just bought an old pc with a k6-2 500 with 256MB of ram today and threw one of these in it. Definitely, a quirky card to say the least haha.

Omg dronez! I forgot about its existence... Wasnt it destined to be a full game but it was never released ?
I think so. The version in the video is a self-running demo from 2001.
