Great playing! Minor annoyance for me: it's frustrating that even with your Nord Electro 6 one can tell that the Rhodes sample is from a Nord board. I use an original Nord Stage ONE and was hoping by now that they would have broken the uncanny valley in Nord sampling considering how damn much they charge for their instruments!
@@Ebril Thanks for writing your opinion! I kind of agree with you 😅 However in this case, it’s actually an in-house Nord, hence they have all the stock sounds - some of which must have been old ones too (found in the original Stage 1). Had it been my personal instrument, I would have definitely loaded and tried out other samples that they offer on their website for all instrument categories. I own Yamaha MODX 6 and Roland VR 09, but had decided to use the venue’s instrument for this one :) And yes, nords are super expensive!!
@@capitalthreeah, guess that is perhaps why I found that sample to be so familiar. Other companies do seem to be putting in a lot of work taking competition to nord in the last few years imo. I hope this means that the future is bright in regards to improved value and quality from all brands🎉
@@Ebril For sure, I second that! Yamaha MODX turned out to be an amazing value for money product for me for the bands that I play in. It lacks in the organ department though, so I have retained my old Roland VR just to fill that gap now as I didn’t have the money to buy a Nord almost a decade ago!
