- Join Molly Baz in the Bon Appétit Test Kitchen as she make Basically's strawberry shortcake with cream. Strawberries are a classic choice for this summertime dessert, but if there are other fresh berries out there callin’ your name, by all means, use those instead. And if you've never made homemade whipped cream before, you're in for a treat-it's so good, you could skip the shortcakes altogether and still have an amazing dessert.

According to the gourmet pop tart video, there’s some real good strawberry that the kitchen orders from some farm in Cali. So good that Claire refused to use them all up. If Molly’s using the same kind for her vid, I wouldn’t blame Andy for stealing them! 😂

Besides, Andy was right. Molly's juicer will give you lots of solids which you may not want.
I feel like Chris is always trying to be better than everyone and that’s kind of annoying.
@@NotContinuum Yep, they should've weighed the lemons first. It's the ratio that counts. 6 grams is about 1.25 teaspoons of juice, easily within the margin of difference between lemons.

they should have each taken the lemon halves and exchanged one or something haha
Need to weigh the lemon, then the juice, and figure out which one converted more lemon to juice. Also, doing a few lemons per tool might help even out inconsistencies between lemons as well

They should have weighed the lemons before they juiced them to see what percentage of the lemon came out in juice and then conducted more trials. I’m not convinced.

they also need to strain the juice too, getting more seeds and pulp out doesnt mean its a better juicer

Judy Vallas if you’ve ever actually tried one of these vid recipients you’d know it’s much more convent to refer to a written copy of the recipe at your own speed instead of forwarding replaying and pausing a video while working in the kitchen, or worse playing the vid and writing the recipe out yourself
Alternatively you could learn how to reproduce it yourself by trial and error.
