      @@notanamelessghoul Yeah it does sound really good with the Fantomen, but not like yours does. It just doesn't have the power that your guitar does with them pickups, the VHll's sound insane in your RD. Wish I could find a lefty Gibson RD.

    Do u use always the same effect for all parts? Like for solo do u use a different effect? Do u change pickups with the pickup selector? Do u split the coils if that guitar has that feature?

    • @notanamelessghoul
      @notanamelessghoul  4 года назад +2

      Less gain on the rhythm usually/more on the lead. They rarely use the neck pickup but it’s used on solos like Ghuleh.

    • @alessiobassguitar
      @alessiobassguitar 4 года назад

      So when u pass from a rhythmic section to a solo section u don't change anything right?

    • @notanamelessghoul
      @notanamelessghoul  4 года назад +1

      Maybe more gain on the solos but not always. A lot of the time it’s the same. In a live situation you’d need a volume lift for the solo.

    • @notanamelessghoul
      @notanamelessghoul  3 года назад

      Yeah I think he plays the 6th string with his thumb and adds the major or minor 3rds on the 3rd string - so he’ll add 4,555,444,9,2 on string 3. It follows the keys 🎹

I was able to find video where you can see the white one play and it seems like he's playing full chords (or maybe the higher notes?) and the lead part that most closely resembles the black one (I don't actually know which one is which). Maybe they mixed the track differently on this song? They might also maybe play it different live?
