Was really unsure about the artwork at first but it kinda grew on me the more I read. Definitely should have come out before Frozen Empire, and I really hope they make more.
@@SKwise glad it grew on you. I guess I don't dislike it as much as I did at first but still not grown on me fully. Dut def want more.
I just love the cover art for Ghostbusters Back in Town No. 1 Cover 1B with the gas station scene - but I’m not at all into contemporary comics, both for the storytelling and the art.
I’ve also never been a comic book reader but I am truly enticed by reading the vintage GB comics and even the IDW comics series you mentioned, which seems very appealing to me (I don’t really like the art of that one too but I do feel it’s way better than these new ones).
@@Collector_Phil I think that was one of the better covers without a doubt.
I loved the writing in the IDW comics, really felt like the characters. I do like the artwork in those but can see why some wouldn't, but as you say, much better than this series. I think with the IDW art, regardless of if it's a style you like or not, you can tell it was done by a professional. I honestly feel the art in these Back in Town comics loom very amateur.
Issue 4 just arrived today! I actually waited to have all of the issues in hand before I start reading it. Lol, I hate waiting gaps in between comic issues. Totally should have been a 4 in 1 book before the release of Frozen Empire.
