    So Tekken 8 will be about Kazuya vs Jin but this time with Jin being main protagonist and good guy. I dig that. I'm glad that Jin is back to being main guy again.

      Brother Nero Jin was my favorite Tekken character, and I do know that even Heihachi is dead and that they don't have to worry about him anymore, Jin still needs to get his devil gene curse removed.

      To be honest Lars was a fail as protagonist in Tekken 6 so I'm happy that Jin is back to being main guy again judging from this scene in Tekken 8 he should be main protagonist. I was really hoping that we would see Jin getting rid of devil gene but it looks like he does seem to have some control over it now.

      Brother Nero I know Lars is the main protagonist in Tekken 6, and in this game, they made him as a major character and the main protagonist of this game is mainly Kazuya.

      For me Lars sucked big time as protagonist in Tekken 6. He could in no way replace awesomeness that is Jin Kazama. I hated that they made Jin antagonist but Jin was still awesome there. Jin is my main man along with Bryan and Dragunov.

      Brother Nero Alot of Tekken characters want Heihachi to die, and in this game Heihachi was finally murdered and Kazuya had finished him once and for all.

    Kazumi pretended to love Heihachi. Her sole purpose as the Hachijou Family was to eliminate people they despised. She is also the official direct Devil gene lineage to Kazuya and her blood started the whole devil gene in the Mishima.
    After seeing this, I've completely sympathize Heihachi. His actions after Kazumi's death is questionable but how can he love his own child who was born by the very woman who betrayed him? Its a tough call for Heihachi and when kid Kazuya knew the truth, it won't change his mind.
    I actually cried a little when heihachi fall down. Then I nearly cried more when he got tossed into the volcano. Its a bloodshed ending with no reconciliation, no love, no understanding. Just an endless Battle of Hatred until one of them falls. In this case, its Heihachi's last....
    You will be missed Heihachi.

    Ironic that the plot of Kazumi's character was that she was sent in to infiltrate the Mishima family based off what seems to be some prophecy that they would bring calamity to the world one day. If that is so, then isn't it funny that her betrayal of Heihachi is the VERY thing that set that chain of events into motion? If she had just remained the loyal wife Heihachi would have never likely turned to evil and maybe the same can be said of Kazuya too.

    When I was playing this mode I thought at 17:42 "That's it. Kazuya's finished." When Kazuya started panting and crying, I seriously thought he was going to be the one to die and that point, but it didn't happen that way. I think the lesson here is that,"You won't win as long as you give in to evil". It took Kazuya getting his humanity back to kill Heihachi.

    Heihachi died as he lived. Fighting, fighting to his fullest with his hands and monstrous martial arts. The funny thing is, is that he wasn't some enhanced human with Supernatural powers but just an ordinary man who trained himself to the peak of human potential. Goodbye Heihachi Mishima, one of the strongest old men in gaming history.😔

      I really want to feel bad for Heihachi... but his bad parenting got him to this point. I mean, how hard is it for you to say to your son "your mother tried to kill me, so I had to fight back." Is that so hard? Kazuya can only remember the torment he suffered from Heihachi and how Heihachi abandoned him thereafter. At least Kazuya didn't kill the mother of Jin. And at least Kazuya seems to fight because it seems like he's more or less forced into it. Kazuya may look the part of a villain but it seems like he's just a villain through the eyes of others.
      In Tekken 1, Kazuya is the protagonist and he eventually becomes the father of Jin who later becomes a protagonist. Kazuya wouldn't even be this way (and probably more like Jin) if his father had did a better job. Even in this ending, Kazuya isn't belittling his father and shows extreme signs of hatred, meanwhile Heihachi doesn't understand that instead of trying to be a better parent to Kazuya and telling him why he murdered the mother, he just "fans the flames" of Kazuya's hatred. Parents aren't perfect but common, telling the son of a demon that only the fittest can survive in the world after beating up Kazuya as a child and throwing him away... I can't blame the guy for being as he is; I expect him to be worse to be honest.

    • @Ninja07Keaton
      @Ninja07Keaton 7 лет назад +24

      Rew T And Heihachi was the protagonist of Tekken 2, a protagonist and a hero are not the same thing. And aren't you forgetting that Heihachi was abusing Kazuya long before he even knew about the devil gene? Heihachi was always harsh on Kazuya, he even went so far as to betray his own father because he felt that Jinpachi was spoiling Kazuya. Kazuya was only able to stay positive through the support of his grandfather and mother. Once Heihachi killed them however, Kazuya's fate was sealed. With the only two people who genuinely cared for him gone, Kazuya has no care for anyone anymore, and is determined to destroy everything.
      I'm not saying that Heihachi is redeemable, anti-villains are still villains after all. But Heihachi truly believed his plans would bring about peace. Anti-villains are characters of tragedy, and they are ever so fund of giving us a dire warning. That the road to hell is paved with good intentions.

      Yuri Lima noone said that doing the right thing is good or even sound good. But sometimes you got to look bad and do bad things in order to save more people. At the end Lars says to Jin that this is a world with no Heihachi. A world were a devil has a lot of power and everything is in ruins. Because Heihachi might be who he is but he did everything for others, not himself.

    • @yurilima1845
      @yurilima1845 7 лет назад +5

      Kostas68238 gotta agree to disagree, i think you're missing the whole theme of Tekken, Heihachi dos the thing he does for himself And no one Else.
      the while game os about the mishimas vengeance, André the World being dragged in to It.
      he kills is father, for no other reason than to get the Mishima Zaibatsu way Before the whole Devil gene thing. Lust for Power os one big Axis of his character

    • @Kostas68238
      @Kostas68238 7 лет назад +34

      Yuri Lima I don't disagree that Heihachi through the tekken series is a power hungry beast. But tekken 7 is the only time to see Heihachi from his own perspective. He is the protagonist in tekken 7 because the whole story surrounds him and his actions. Through the other tekken series we see things through the eyes of Kazuya and Jin. The child who was abused by his father isn't going to be completely fair or even try to understand his father. He will just see him as the devil. And through the eyes of Jin who was betrayed by Heihachi although he admired him, you ain't going to hear the best for the old guy. The thing is Heihachi was non-canon through tekken 4 and 5 which he was in his worst. In tekken 3 heihachi doesn't try to steal Jin's devil gene to become stronger, he is just trying to end the devil gene by killing Jin. He does cruel things don't get me wrong but he is doing them to extinct the devil gene. And the fact that the games are about the mishimas vengeance is completely true. But Heihachi was always portraited as a heartless monster, but now we see that Heihachi is actually a guy who tries to do the right thing.

      Ryowhosakazaki Heihachi didn't kill reporter and not order his troop and Nina to kill him because he wants to spread a words to world for let everyone know who is biggest threat than Mishima Zaibatsu and him. So,they will need to know better that to face their biggest foe in destruction world.Heihachi loves his wife and his son more and Peaceful world despite his interest with domination until he betrayed by wife when she attack him and declare him as biggest threat despite her curse blood will bring more destruction than domination.His life is already turn upside down when his wife and his son's blood share each other as living chaos.He has no choice but to search ultimate power to destroy that curse bloodline.

    Heihachi reminds me so much of Yammamoto from bleach. In some ways he seems ruthless, brutal and viscous.. And he will never beg or ask for your help so you think he really doesn't care. But the truth is... He cares the most, the irony of this is that. I honestly think Heihachi loved Kazuya more then anything and he felt not only was the devil gene used against him as a form of betrayal from the woman he loved. But he also felt like it would cause Kazuya more misery on top of the suffering of others in the world. In a way, I see it as him trying to put his son out of his misery, and stop him from being the monster he would become. The type of abuse he was showing him was to keep his mind disciplined and to keep him in check. He got mad at Jinpachi because Jinpachi was spoiling him to much, and its like for him he was watching him spoil a unstable child.. Spoil a child on that's unstable and the start getting out of control running amock. He believed in disciplining him to keep him in check, so he could control himself later in life but it backfired and he overly did it. Causing him to try to kill his lost cause do to his pride.. Instead of owning up to it. But the one thing he probably realized the most, is that Kazuya.. was "his" son and like father like son. The same way he became a great warrior like his father, is the same way Heihachi.. Had to realize "would I have listened to myself if I told him.. I had to kill your mother because she tried to kill us and there's a dark evil inside you" "probably not.. My son wouldn't listen either way" even towards the end Heihachi knew Kazuya wouldn't listen.. It's your mother and women have that effect on men. There are some mothers today that could manipulate there kids all day, and you tell the kid the truth.. They would just think you are lying. Heihachi in his eyes you could see he wanted to tell his son, he wanted to see his son as this strong man and he always wanted his son to see him as strong aswell. You could see the love in his eyes.. The "Tough Love he shows" and the sadness at the fact the he knew this had to come to a end. Shows this was something he never wanted to do, it just had to be done the Heihachis story is far more complicated then selfishness and selflessness. Everything that seemed like it was for just personal gain turned out to be more, if it benefits along the way let's go with that for my final end goal.

      AnotherBot:D Now that Heihachi is dead, what will happen next?

    • @Ninja07Keaton
      @Ninja07Keaton 7 лет назад +10

      AnotherBot:D Their purpose was to eliminate threats to the world. Heihachi always had a goal of taking over the world through military force in order to bring about peace. The problem is that Heihachi's plans while having noble intentions, would inevitably lead the world to war. Kazumi wasn't wrong, and while she was reluctant to kill the man she had come to love, she gave in to the devil gene in order to kill Heihachi thus preventing the events of the series up to this point.
      Kazuya is too far corrupted by the devil gene, as his mother predicted. Kazuya only wants power to do as he pleases. This is why Kazumi requested Akuma to kill both him and Heihachi.

    • @USSCrazybat
      @USSCrazybat 7 лет назад +25

      I interpreted it that Kazumi foresaw whatever Heihachi/Kazuya would do, but in attempting to prevent it and kill Heihachi she unknowingly began all of it. If she hadn't tried to kill Heihachi, he wouldn't have known about the devil in Kazuya and thus would have had no reason to throw him off the cliff.

    This is sad and all, but a lot has been ret-conned. No matter if Kazumi had the devil gene, this doesn't excuse Heihachi attempting to murder his son and grandson. Kazuya was abused as a child by Heihachi; thus helping him to go evil (still a personal choice).
    And what of Jin? Wasn't the devil gene curse placed on him by...whatever that creepy thing was in the T3 opening movie? Jin never wanted the devil power, yet Heihachi - who Jun trusted to take care of her son, had the Tekken Force to gun Jin down, AND Heihachi delivered the final blow.
    In T4, Heihachi wanted Jin's power, too...then the plot just goes nuts after that. So, now Jin will save the day which means one of them has to die (Kazuya or Jin), and maybe just maybe Asuka will finally be made into an important character since she has powers to destroy the devil gene.
    I dunno. The NEW retcon story is emotional, but kind of annoying.

    Unfortunately, Tekken is NOT OVER yet--Jin still has to stop Kazuya out cold. Now Heihachi's dead, all that's left is Kazuya. All Jin wants is to die without children and put a stop to the Hachijou/Mishima ruckus once and for all.

  • @derrickrector1994

    The Tekken story is so fucking misleading. I thought the reason why Heihachi killed his wife Kazumi because he was too power hungry and letting it all go to his head. After watching this, I see now that she was the one who betrayed him. I understand that Heihachi was hurt, but he where he FUCKED ALL THE WAY UP FOR ME was when he threw his son Kazuya off a cliff. I probably would've sympathized with Heihachi a lot more had he not done that to his own son. Like, he lost MAJOR points with me on that.

    • @tailedgates9
      @tailedgates9 7 лет назад +3

      I think it was because the devil gene that Kazumi had was passed onto Kazuya and Heihachi wasn't sure if he should kill him or not. (Obviously we know what he chose) But it was very messed up. No child should have to go through that.

    Play the song "Be in the mirror" over the final battle, and tell me you don't tear up... The hardest part about Heihachi's death, is that i am now 21 years old. Tekken 2 was the first game i ever played. I literally grew up with this man, His ego, his silly antics, his merciless demeanor. And now he is gone, Heihachi is such a powerful presence in fighting games, it actually feels like i lost a friend, one who gave me rage, humor in his silly endings, and amazement with his stylish moveset that shows years of hard earned mastery. And with that, i thank you, Heihachi. I now understand why you were the way you are.

    You Heihachi fans are so delusional.
    To all you idiots blaming Kazumi, let's not forget the reason why Kazumi wanted Heihachi dead: It was predicted that he would cause catastrophic global conflicts due to his ruthless, almost insatiable hunger for power which is consistent of what we have seen from him since the very first Tekken. He imprisoned his father Jinpachi underground (the only purely good Mishima) and turned his company into a war profiting, arms dealing, militant force with virtually endless capital. She didn't corrupt him, he was corrupted (power hungry) from the start. Also, there is no evidence that Kazumi faked her love for Heihachi. Why do you think she hesitated to confront Heihachi all over the years? There is nothing to suggest that she was into power and world domination (unlike Heihachi). She comes from a clan dedicated to preventing diabolical people from taking over the world.
    Heihachi was NEVER a good guy. He was in the wrong from day, Kazumi and her clan are the good guys.

      Lists of Heihachi's 'the right thing' that Heihachi's fans seems to forget
      1.Imprisoning your father in Honmaru until death, which means death by starvation
      2. Throw your son into the volcano
      3. Start the shit that made your wife tried to kill you to begin with.
      4. Uses your grandkid to fight Ogre, then shot him in the head + Bonus point if his Devil Gene's awaken.
      Yeah son, definitely the right thing.

    Heihachi may still have some goofy qualities in this game but, god damn he was such a bad ass. He was evil, but he is the lesser evil between him and Kazuya. Far lesser. Kazuya needs to die and Jin can finally do what he intended in Tekken 4. Hoooo what a sad story that will make.

      He fights Kazuya at the true ending of the game (after Kaz throws Heihavji into the volcano), but we don't see the outcome.
      Still, the protagonist would never die at the hands of a >"guest" character.
      IRL Akuma would annihilate Kazuya. Even Devil Kazuya.
      He can go Shin Akuma which can vaporize moon-sized asteroids with 1 blow, or even Oni, who's much stronger than Shin Akuma.
      But base form is enough.
      So I wouldn't be surprised if they pretend Akuna never happened, in Tekken 8. It's just dumb to have him fight characters who are considerably weaker than him (story-wise) and lose.

    Guys, Kazuya fufilled the Hachijo's purpose but as for Tekken 8 or Jin, it'll be about the Kazama purpose of nullifying Devil, IMO Jin will only end Devil without necessarly killing Kazuya.

      KonekoNekoRDB I didn't even fucking think about that.
      The reason Jin and nullify and finally control the gene properly without it fully taking him over is due to Kazama blood.
      And he possibly could beat Kazuya into submission, with Jun convincing him to just use the Kazama within him to rid Kazuya of the devil gene.
