The crowd was into it, he was VERY into it, not to mention it was sung to perfection. That was likely the best opening national anthem I've ever seen. Would have been perfect if WV came out with a win, but that was still fantastic.
It is common but at these WVU football games the marching band usually plays the Anthem. It is rare when we have someone singing so everyone joined in.
its an American thing. Im from new york and my highschool loves sports so at ever basketball game and football game we sing our hearts out when this comes on.

Outstanding video of Landau's wonderful performance!! This is the best one I have seen yet!! Its so nice to see a rendition of the National Anthem that is both beautifully sung and yet so easy for the crowd to sing along with. That is such a rare combination and is an awesome thing to witness, even via RUclips! Its just a shame that ABC and ESPN did not have the guts to make an exception to their usual pre-game program format by broadcasting this for everyone to appreciate and enjoy.

But if Landau sings it at games, i will certainly make an effort t to watch...provided the damn tv stations show it, i cant believe AB C didnt air it, i had to search around for ppl who bought tickets to the ga me and got it on their cams, cellphones. But yes...Landau needs to sing the national anthem instead of these hollyweird hacks they are picking. PEACE

Thrilling! I've never heard a crowd sing the National Anthem so loud. It makes me tear up every time. Superb job by Mr. Murphy as well.
