"The 15 Promises of the Holy Rosary"
1. Whoever shall faithfully serve me by the recitation of the Rosary, shall receive signal graces.
2. I promise my special protection and the greatest graces to all those who shall recite the Rosary.
3. The Rosary shall be a powerful armor against hell, it will destroy vice, decrease sin, and defeat heresies.
4. The Rosary will cause virtue and good works to flourish; it will obtain for souls the abundant mercy of God; it will withdraw the hearts of men from the love of the world and its vanities, and will lift them to the desire for eternal things. Oh, that souls would sanctify themselves by this means.
5. The soul which recommends itself to me by the recitation of the Rosary, shall not perish.
6. Whoever shall recite the Rosary devoutly, applying himself to the consideration of its sacred mysteries shall never be conquered by misfortune. God will not chastise him in His justice, he shall not perish by an unprovided death; if he be just he shall remain in the grace of God, and become worthy of eternal life.
7. Whoever shall have a true devotion for the Rosary shall not die without the sacraments of the Church.
8. Those who are faithful to recite the Rosary shall have during their life and at their death the light of God and the plentitude of His graces; at the moment of death they shall participate in the merits of the saints in paradise.
9. I shall deliver from Purgatory those who have been devoted to the Rosary.
10. The faithful children of the Rosary shall merit a high degree of glory in Heaven.
11. You shall obtain all you ask of me by the recitation of the Rosary.
12. All those who propagate the Holy Rosary shall be aided by me in their necessities.
13. I have obtained from my Divine Son that all the advocates of the Rosary shall have for intercessors the entire celestial court during their life and at the hour of death.
14. All who recite the Rosary are my sons and daughters, and brothers and sisters of my only Son Jesus Christ.
15. Devotion of my Rosary is a great sign of predestination.

I say the rosary every day for a couple years now. The fact that I can do that, and it’s even easy for me, is in itself a great source of serenity to me. I know I am under the protection of Mary. Bless you two for encouraging everyone. Half the times I say it alone, half the time listening and praying to your recordings of the scriptural Mysteries. You gave me such a great way to pray. What I like about the Holy Rosary. I can give out a number of reasons.
1. It helps me become more closer to God, Jesus, The Blessed Virgin Mary.
2. It helps me become more calm, peaceful, and quiet.
3. It helps me get rid of anything that is negative and helps me to get rid of anything that is emotionally and mentally unhealthy.
4. It helps me focus on whatever mysteries I can think of. I often times did it by myself or with a church group. There’s another reason why I pray the rosary because I belong to a Catholic fraternal organization, the Knights of Columbus.

Despite the controversy over the authenticity of the 15 Promises of the Holy Rosary, the fact that the Blessed Mother has asked the Rosary be prayed during many of her apparitions (Fatima, Akita, Argentina, Rwanda etc) proves the truth of the Promises to me.

I have started in recent times to recite at least one decade of the Rosary every night. I feel I'm falling short of what Our Lady asks off me. I'm not going to make excuses here to try and justify my actions.
Our Lord knows our strengths and limitations. Always do your best and trust in God. When time for prayer is limited, do what you can, and make your duties and daily actions a prayer by giving to God the best of your talents.

All sin is to be avoided. We know that only God can forgive sins. To pray daily and live in mortal sin seems presumptuous of God's mercy. Please consult a priest for further clarification regarding the 15 Promises.

Where in the bible shows a proof that Mary actually made the 15 promises? Would Jesus have authorized her mother to say those promises like she has more power than him? I believe that nobody should make those promises except God the father and Jesus. I understand why Protestants do not agree with Catholics in this matter.
Everything that Mary does comes from Jesus, not from Mary herself. Mary acts under the direction of the Heavenly Father.
#9:. Why would they be in Purgatory in the first place if they are devoted to the Holy Rosary? According to #6, and others, they have Eternal Life if they are devoted to the Holy Rosary. Eternal Life is Heaven, not Purgatory.
#9 reminds us of the power of the Holy Rosary. We know that nothing imperfect can enter heaven. The Blessed Mother's intercession for us can help us tremendously. Yes, eternal life is heaven, and Promise #6 is about being "worthy of eternal life".
I'm in RCIA and I dont understand how the 15 promises are biblical. They are actually anti biblical if I'm understanding the promises correctly.
Tradition holds that the promises were given to St. Dominic by the Blessed Mother. A priest at your local parish should be able to help explain further.

I've said many roserys but I lost many years to a bad acne problem. Youg years the building blocks I've been told to offer it up.why should I offer it up to people who wouldn't give our lady the time of day.i always felt that I was scum to God. I took many insults over my acne and I saw people strutting around with no problems no acne life a beach for them. And I am praying for them to get the same heaven I do.for what they have been blessed already catholic or not. They don't have to say 1 rosery why should they.i still have acne scars. I see people on easy st. Non catholics tell me I'm wasting my time with this rosery. I can't see why I should pray for people who had a cake walk. I've said thousands of roserys still my thoughts make me wonder if I do get to heaven and these people say to me thanks sucker remember your acne years not me I was blessed not you. I never had to 1 rosery for what. Just how I feel sometimes. I lost my youth and love for what.
I'm sorry for what you have had to endure and the insults that you have suffered. In scriptures, Jesus said, "Blessed are they who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when they insult you and persecute you and utter every kind of evil against you [falsely] because of me. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward will be great in heaven. Thus they persecuted the prophets who were before you." (Matthew 5:10-12).
No person's life is "easy street". These days, especially with social media, some people's lives merely appear to be a cake walk, but the reality isn't the case. As for acne issues, a lot people, including celebrities, had to deal with severe scarring (during his teen years, Michael Jackson, for example, struggled with this. He achieved great stardom regardless).
Remember, justice with God is automatic, so those who insult you or others will reap the consequences of their actions, whether you see it or not. You should pray for them because such people who insult others are not secure within themselves (inwardly, they are extremely weak). Most of all though, they will face God's justice for their actions, all in God's timing. Believe me, this does happen.
When Noah built the ark (as God had instructed him to do), the rest of the world thought he was crazy. They insulted him and went about their sinful lives. Well, we all know what happened to all those people who insulted Noah.
Prayer is never wasted, and never let anyone stop you from praying. You are in control of your decisions, and those who insult you need to think long an hard about where they are going to spend eternity. You have the courage to follow God, and those who taunt you probably don't have the same courage. Like those who insulted Noah, these people will have a rude awakening if they don't change their ways.
Stay strong, keep praying, and don't let the negative people of the world get you down. There's a good quotation by Eleanor Roosevelt -- “No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.”
