I was looking for a channel strip to learn all aspects of mixing in the old school organic way and then this popped into my feed.
I have the XL subscription bundle so it's a win for me.
Btw it's just under £20 a month for me (£19.69) a month or $25 Mega XXL is $29.99 6 free plugins with mine and 10 with mega XXL after 12 months of subscription

There’s enough out there now and I’ve got so many channel strips.
Got lucky with PA plugins, back in Jan they had a deal going pay £399 for all new releases for a year, they listed plugins coming but it has now far exceeded that, hope they run the same deal for the new year, probably not :D

Basically any PA plugin is worth no more than $30 now, much like Waves. There are enough alternatives to solve for most problem use cases so it starts to come down to workflow and taste. And since I have little taste (haha) I can wait until these go on sale :)
same for softube, acoustica, uad, live, pulsar, toneproject s- NOTHING is worth more than 30, it is just a small portion of code, inserted into bigger code (your DAW). Don't kid yourself with "one is soooo much better...than the other" ...that is noob, amateur thinking of people with no hardware.
Since I still have the Forever 29 plan, that's what I paid for it (around 36€ with VAT).

Appreciated....but we do reviews not demos....too many variables and way better if you download a trial and see for yourself.👍 Unless you wanna hear another already processed track or loop going through a plugin and then getting squashed by the RUclips compression...😂
@@StudioLife101 I think just a little sniplet (not necessarely a 30 minutes video) can help to enforce the reviewer's opinion. Either to show why you did like the plugin, or not. Or in what situation were you impressed by it. Etc.
Plugins are so subjective and sometime the UI has a placebo effect because it is so "pretty" haha

Do the Vertigo VSE-4 Gyrator (insert joke here) EQ. It's expensive (all the time). Saturating Eq. I dunno how or why, but it's just somehow massively more effective than my regular paragraphic EQ. Especially the filters. Just shapes the hi's like nothing else, and also acts like a de-esser with the saturation.
