I’ve never seen orange gear on people in the lobby I rarely even see blue or purple gear. So I think most people got nothing to worry about in terms of seeing a orange gear player
The game has been updated, now you can bring up to legendary loot in normals, and there is a gear level based matchmaking. I guess it allows F2P players to have fun with their collected gear!
I have been playing this game since first Beta, but its been a while since i played. LOVE to see so many new players, and this video is a great refresher man. thanks
@@Firebox720 definitely. Was wondering if you have done a “how to fight every mob” video. Like I know the skeleton with the two handed sword can be easily avoided by ducking and looking down. I’m sure there’s plenty of techniques to make farming pve easier. Anyways, just an idea!
Never trust anyone or hesitate in this game, you can and will get stabbed in the back the second you turn around everyone will cheat you when given the chance

Elden ring quite literally is easier, imo. This is coming from a guy who has platinumed every dark souls game, including elden ring and bloodborne. Reason being is that the bosses will always behave the exact same and you can memorize them. In Dark and Darker, every individual player you come across is like a boss with randomized stats, speed, moveset, damage, reactions, etc. No two people play exactly the same. Now add 100’s of hoard mode mobs to come and kill you while you fight for your life vs a lobby full of people who want to steal everything you’ve ever loved. So no, you don’t suck. This is just reallllly hard

Maybe other tiers as well but im only aware of green and blue being allowed now
Oh yeah, there are alternative ways to fight different mobs. I'm assuming you meant goblin archers. I usually just side step or block the arrows but that should work too
@@Firebox720 nah I mean frost caves archers. When you get melee range they push, this punishes a lot of noobs who get close and think they will only shoot like goblin or normal skele archers. I was just commenting in the hopes a new player would see
Hey thanks for the video, informative, BUT i would say the very first thing to know, would be how to understand the map, and how extractions worked. I was able to play the game without any instruction, but actualy completing a raid is the hardest thing.
Wizard requires a more measured playing style, since you have a limited number of spells you can cast before resting. Warlock requires a little more knowledge about how your stats work in conjunction with each other, since Warlocks use their own HP to cast spells. They're both a fun challenge to learn.
I just wish you got two or 3 character slots or even make all 9 a separate dlc you pay $5 for. Would be nice to learn the game for free or relatively free without having to delete a character
why is the squire among the merchants? I looked at the merchants tab and said "well, I have no gold, so there is absolutely no reason for me to be here yet" and never looked at it again.
Hey , nice video. You didn't seem to talk about the red stairs , is it because it's not new player friendly ? It's nice to atleast tell them so they know there are several floors with increasing difficulty and loots. Also, they removed the gear limits for now so we can go in with purple etc

@@chucknorris3752 It's up to you honestly! I don't know if it's available in F2P but you can save up for a 2nd stash slot (it cost 1500 for the 2nd one). Otherwise, if you want to upgrade your gear you totally can, or start putting together pieces for a kit you can save in stash.
Great video! I just started playing a couple days ago. How a game where i die 30+ times in a row can keep me playing i dontknow but i am finally starting to survive! Ive tried taking the rope extract twice now and both times it just letft without me, almost like i rubberbanded and tehn got left behind instead; can you jot use the rope if you're actively taking damage?
man as a new player running around trying to find a way out. this game feels full on trash, i have ran around for the last 4 minutes in every map looking for that blue stone. 7 runs in a row and never found even one. how infuriating and trash design, if they are always in the same spot there should be some sort of general direction indiccator
You're supposed to learn the map/s or use the other new escape methods. I do get how you feel saying its trash design, but you really just need to learn the maps more tbh

Normal Queue got changed with Gear Score Softcap for protected MM 24 and lower, once your 25GS and higher you'll be matchup to Orange gear players

The main part of the map is the extracts, which I thought I covered. Keep in mind portals did not have mini map markers

Wizard and warlock are both tough to start. If you had to choose I'd day warlock

They changed it and now you can equip any gear, it just puts you in a 25+ GS bracket if you have 25+ Gear Score.

New player here, I’ve never had the game stop me from bringing green or even blue gear into a dungeon. Was the game changed?

Red stairs do not exist on goblin caves

Is the squire heal dupe thing patched? When I press equip base gear it just pulls the items from my inventory back into my hot bar.
You can “dupe” squire gear only if you’ve successfully extracted with it (it’ll go from Supplied to Handled).
Otherwise, it’ll do what you described

why is your weapon dealing that much damage? I'm playing rogue and use a dagger and I deal 20 damages 30 in the head !
Your strength might be low. 15 STR baseline is important to not deal less damage. Also you can stack +dmg gear as well to add to this total.

You will die a lot at first. Rope was bugged I think it was fixed now
