This is for many of us canon like Batman beyond is canon to batman. The future is a mystery only time will tell if it repeats itself. This book would help guys training with Tien and so many more. I think Dragonball is about man kind needing more fighters to defend our planet. It's a wholesome message most of the "time." Gohan is like Gary Oak. He's better than Ash but he doesn't want the lime light forever his character wants to do more than just fight for good he wants to create and think for good.

I think it'd be a really interesting take, if the beast form CONFIRMED that Gohan is, due to his half-human heritage, just another person with a faulty fight-or-flight mechanism. We're talking about an IRL multiplier with a max of about 5x. That has the potential to rip your body apart, or permanently kill a limb. Now imagine that being applied _over_ his power level, or over any possible transformation. With it being the final multiplier applied. Like, imagine if, every time he uses the form and reverts back to normal, he has a few more _permanently_ white hairs in his base, as a show of the _damage_ he's doing to himself. All because he's RELYING on that faulty fight-or-flight mechanism, like some people IRL do- instead of consistently training to get stronger. This way, there's a cap on his potential- and only because he was so negligent. It would throw his flaws and mistakes back in his face, give him a more concrete limit, akin to those Goku had to TRAIN to break. Meaning that if he ever does it the right way, it'll be that much more rewarding. Like for example, if Frieza comes back, and Gohan gets absolutely _mollywhopped_ all over again, infront of his wife & child, thinking the beast form would be enough. Especially if it mirrors the IRL consequences of accessing hysterical strength, and could weak or potentially cripple him, so much so that he'd stand EVEN LESS chance of protecting his family, if it came down to it. Plus it's a good message. To do things the right way, and not take shortcuts.
Gohan has always been on tier with all 4 characters u mentioned. Brains and wisdom do matter. Especially, when he is now friends with Old Kai and can talk to him at anytime. So Whis and Beerus maybe the same age as him. Gohans Rage unlocks are dif than Brolys as well. Mess with family get wiped out.
The issue is Gohan’s “feats” are purely based around outside the series gossip. It’s really hard to argue Gohan, Piccolo, Cell Max or the new androids look stronger than Jiren even let alone scale to Frieza Black. Honestly it’s about as offensive as Roshi somehow being stronger than Tien
I don't think is a problem with Gohan. It's a problem with the way the writers are writing Super. People haven't forgetton, they just don't care. In the Saiyan and Namek saga Gohan had trained his butt off to be able to protect the ones he loved and to correct his mistake by bringing back Piccolo (after getting him killed), and yet he still lost most of the time. He still had that drive, motivation, and purpose. And still had to earn everything (even after getting potential unlocked by Guru, since it didn't really help that much). Even in the Android saga he trained intensely for 4 years to get to Mastered SSJ level. To be the strongest. Sure his crazy potential helped... but he's also training with Super Saiyans, so it's going to give him a biggest boost to his gains compared to Goku training solo in the woods as a kid. Buu saga dropped the ball twice on Gohan. Firstly by giving him the ultimate unlock, and secondly by not actually doing anything with it and bringing Goku back (having to make Gohan look incompetent in the process). But the problems really shine through with Super. The power scaling is ridiculous. All power gains and transformations are useless and pointless. Characters can just wish for a power boost or new form now. Or just decide out of no where to get one even without wishing for it. It's just bad, lazy writing. And it makes the power gains, training, and everything just pointless. So it's not that people have forgotten... it's that people just don't care any more. Take away all these things... all these gifts of power from Gods, Dragons, or the plot itself. Make characters earn their power like they used to. Gohan has more potential, not just in terms of power, but in terms of story too. He's a more 3-dimentional character than Goku and Vegeta are. Vegeta peaked on Namek and has just repeated in an inferior way that same character arc ever since. Until Super came along and then reversed his character. Instead of pride being what's holding him back, now it's what powers him up. It's dumb. Goku just wants to fight strong guys. Nothing more. Boring. Unless you just wanna watch flashy fights and don't care about story, then he's perfect. If you care about story and character development, Gohan is by far a better choice.
Gohan apparently studies insects in Super Hero, so they've made attempts to come up with what exactly he does as a scholar. I think the main issue is the fact the anime and manga and movies are all separate things. Even if you've got Akio Iyoku or whoever looking through things trying to keep some illusion of consistency, they all still feel separate and also reactionary to each other. When the manga started getting to anime-first stuff, it took out some of the big plot holes and things fans didn't like. When the anime was criticised for poor animation, they made a movie where the aim was to try make it look as flashy as possible. When people got sick of too much Goku and Vegeta, they made a whole movie without that. I think that's why Gohan Beast isn't being implemented in more story. It's like a thing just for that movie unless someone really wants to revisit it for another arc.
Future Gohan didn't have hi potential unlocked. When Old kai opened that gate, Gohans upper limits are literally infinite..Imagine suddenly having all the power you'll ever have past present and future in full access, there's a beautiful irony in the fact that He's theoretically the strongest character if he wanted it..but he doesn't. Truthfully, this is more of a question of just how powerful is Potential Unleashed compared to all the other transformations in the series. I mean in Picollos case this man is now able to Compete with Blue
Iirc, Gohan mentioned that he's been practicing in secret at the end of the Super Hero movie. I reckon if we actually got to see Gohan training, the community would remember what he has accomplished and what he CAN accomplish. But the thing about Gohan is he doesnt stive to fight like Goku and Vegeta do. Planet Level has a very good video about why "You Dont Understand Gohan" and I recommend people who haven't seen it to watch it
The problem with that twist is that quite literally nothing in the story supports it. Gohan said he trained, but the whole movie quite literally says he didn't. You have to throw in clues somewhere.
Hey Qaaman dope vid. My biggest hope is that we see more Gohan and Piccolo in the coming manga chapters and arcs. Also since we're talking about main characters. How do you feel about Uub being the main character? Reincarnation of Kid Buu, Goku's first pupil, lives in the shadow of what Kid Buu did to the earth. Seems like a character you could write a story around
Imagine if we get Gohan just wrecking Black Frieza (let's say after getting god Ki on top of his current form which without it already rivals Goku and Vegeta) 🤨 that would be so badass and funny 😆 I just hope that Gohan will not disappear and DBS will fix his character a bit so that Qaaman's idea of Gohan being a bad main character would be wrong + I would like to see an evil Gohan arc 😀
When toriyama was asked why he changed the name to beast, he said it’s because he wouldn’t know what to call his next form if he got one. I think god ki for gohan is the next logical step and like you said he should combine it with beast.
Couldnt imagine how strong gohan could potentially become if someone close to him got killed.. like videl or pan, i know in the buu arc this kindve happened with chichi and stuff , i just feel like since gohan has his own family its a little different. A simple kidnapping in a movie boosted gohan to a broken level, imagine a death..
If Frieza can constantly do asspull upgrades, Gohan and Piccolo can do it every once in a while. But on the real, Gohan said he'd been training, which reminds me of when Frieza said he trained for a month to get to Golden. but it seems like Gohan had been training since the Resurrection F
I don't understand why people think that Dr. Gero made the main timeline versions of 17 and 18 stronger. We have no evidence that he was capable of making them any stronger. Not only that, there is no reason not to make them as strong as possible. They are already way stronger than Gero, so it isn't a safety issue to max out their potential. Also, Gero tried everything that he could to guarantee their success. The argument that Trunks' time traveling caused the increase in power makes no sense. How? Magic? No... And his comment on them being stronger is something to take with a grain of salt. He is not an expert on them. He fought them twice, and they toyed with him both times. Because they don't have a ki signature, he doesn't have clue. 17 and 18 were made as strong as they could be by Gero.
I really wish super let gohan keep training so at least him being so strong would make sense .honestly the movies kind of messes things up with having two transformations back to back it’s hard for anyone to keep up realistically.
So gohan kinda functions as a benchmark like superman does. He works best as a pinch hitter kinda like goku was during namek where even when he was there he was out of the fights for like half the time he was even on the planet. In part I think future gohan got screwd by what scared kid Goku constantly…. The lack of food seeing how weak houngry kid Goku was and it being implied that food was scares in the future I could see gohans gains being stunted
If Gohan got his own arc where he struggled to really utilize his potential, that would be really cool. Like, if he couldn't just call out his Beast form at will, but had to train with Goku or Piccolo for a while to control it. But even then, I think he'd need to be at most a supporting fighter rather than a character who won the battle by himself like in the Cell saga.
I gotta disagree. I think going back to the narrative of only focusing on Goku and Vegeta is incredibly boring and repetitive. Adding Gohan and Piccolo to the forefront alongside them opens up a lot more avenues for interesting and diverse stories.
The reason Gohan can’t slack off and then just train a little bit and unlock all his power again easily is because he’s had his potential unlocked by Elder Kai
I just assumed Gohan's studying is about insects given in DBS Super Hero his room was littered with different stuff related to insects, and he discovered a new breed of ants that turned yellow like SSJ. All I'm hoping now they do something different for Gohan instead of repeating the same story 3 times in a row. 🙏
Both Goku and Vegeta can go anywhere around the 12 Universes to Face against Ultimate Opponents, so either Toriyama, Torotaro or even Toei Animation could just let Gohan be the new Protector of Earth or Hell even protect Universe 7 as a whole, he doesn't have to take Goku's place as Main Character, but him and Piccolo has to Assemble the New Generation of Fighters like Goten and Trunks (and possibly Pan, Bulla and even Uub) to prepare for upcoming greater Foes sometime in the Future, DBS: Superhero (Movie & Manga) shows that Goku and Vegeta will not always be around to help the others in need to save the Earth or perhaps Universe 7, so that's why we have to get Gohan to become a Fighter again (but he can still be a Scholar at the same time because having Brains is better than having no Brains at all, just like Clark Kent/Superman).
0:21 not forgetting just confusion for me really, I think in the Manga Super Hero takes place after the Granolah arc, while we know he has nothing on Freiza , I am not sure if he is stronger than Goku and Vegeta's divine forms (have no idea what's up with Goku other than the authors realised giving him the white haired form was a bad idea if they had no intention of him losing with it, so they introduce that Shin UI, which I assume is weaker than MUI). but I am pretty sure Gohan and Piccolo are equal to or above the enhanced blue forms. Really hope they keep this power scale reminds me of the Android arc
The only roles I see Gohan working in well is if he was Goten's and Trunks's big brother, and as a mentor for the next generation. Gohan failed in his fights will Cell and Buu because he never got the humility lesson Goku got from Master Roshi in the 21st World Martial Arts Tournament. I think it would be interesting to see him as a teacher to Goten, Trunks, Pan, and maybe some more characters. To teach them how to be a better than he was.
DBZ keeps forgetting its own lore in regards to Gohan. If you think about it, he should’ve been the one the ritual was performed on in BoG. But they inexplicably made Goku stronger again.
Don't expect me to be impressed, to this day the only person Gohun has defeated is Cell. And both times he needed to be motivated by someone to rise to the occasion he couldn't do it alone.
Gohan is my favorite character but yeah I am sad they are just putting focus back on main sayins especially cuz gohan told Frezia if he ever got out of line he would stop him
I believe in super, it was hinted that Gohan is a historian and a book writer for the study of the Ki/spirit, body & mind. @QaamansLand He’s that guy that casually is teaching the masses through his books about how to master Ki and other things that involves martial arts, which is pretty ironic, because he doesn’t practice any of that himself other than training with Pikkoro. Another that I should add is that through his books he’s teaching everyone like he did with Bīderu/Videl.
Edit: My comment got more ranty than intended, 1st para is really the only part relevant 😅 Super is all over the place with power scaling it's ridiculous, most of these new transformations I don't think were really earned, and they were just a quick way to make characters who were lagging behind relevant again. Something scaling wise that gets me are the humans via Krillin, Tein, Yamcha, and I guess Roshi, too. Ppl say "oh they can beat Freiza, Cell, and kid Buu now." And I still can't wrap my head around those 3 being Namek Frieza's lvl, the transformation multipliers just left them in the dust, Krillin got his potential unlocked by Guru and was still like over 1000x weaker than Frieza at the time like how do u pass your "potential" and by that much at that? And their feats since don't really convince me other wise the only 1 with a particularly impressive feat was Tein holding off Simi Cell but it was shown between Yamcha and Krillin(who r all relatively around the same lvl from eachother) that Gero can make quick and easy work of them effortlessly who was effortlessly taken out by 17, who was effortlessly taken out by Imprefect Cell, then effortlessly took out 16 as Simi who gave him trouble and this was in a span of like a day or so so Tein was where near slightly comparable in anyway but use it as proof he's "stronger" than Frieza. Tein has a move that could potentially beat Frieza pretty much how Roshi's Mafuba can pretty but beat/seal anyone, but that doesn't mean their stronger than said character when all said character needs to do is throw as little 1 serious punch to win.
I always wished gohan would actually train consistently to stay ahead of everybody but they turn him into a doormat. I’m actually curious to know if beast gohan can beat black Frieza if he’s also given 10 years in the time chamber.
Gohan's potential in Super is an a$$pull, no question! In Z Gohan got stronger but never THIS powerful this quick even with training. Same goes for Frieza.
In Cell saga he went from essentially nothing right to SSJ 2 and a bit above. In Buu saga, he went stronger than SS3. Having his potential unlocked as he did, and other's have mentioned, it's pretty obvious there's no real limit on Gohan's powers, just like there seems to be no limit on Frieza at this point.
Great video Qaaman. Gohan has been a cheat code character for Dragon Ball since his fighting debut. When you realize Gohan as a snot nosed toddler with no training whatsoever surpassed everything Goku had accomplished in OG Dragon Ball, you saw that Toriyama had some insane power potential with this character. Surprisingly though, most fans don't have a problem with that cause it was Z, but when Super does the same thing with Gohan Beast it's "lazy writing". Im really getting tired of this double standard.
This is mostly head canon, but Piccolo was suppose to be the main character of Super Hero. It was change to Gohan for corporate reasons. I think Toei and Toriyama are aware of your points Qaaman and would love to write Gohan out of the story. However, fans love him too much, so they rather just give us Gohan moments in small doses.
Lol it is funny that nobody else but Goku/Vegeta sensed Broly while he's (ON) the planet you guys remember in the android saga how every Z fighters and their moms felt freeza & his dad from all the way in outer space lol...
And nostalgia, because a lot of people seemed to actually like his baby tantrum fight against Cell, and want him to be THE STRONGEST EVAR OH MY GOD SO STRONG.
Dangit Qaaman. I hate that you're making sense about Gohan. At this point, we're so far past the Buu saga that we've had two moments of instant power catch-ups by Gohan. Granted, he was holding his own against the gammas in regular ultimate mode. Which is weird bc Ultimate is almost a pun now with Beast. But yeah, they've spent so much of his adult life showing him not training at all that Tori just relies on these huge power jumps. One thing about Future Gohan that I think happened is that he never trained beyond his time with piccolo or his boosts from namek. He had nobody to train with against the androids and never trained with his dad at all before he died due to ChiChi. He was still only 6 when he got back from namek.
Gohan would be a GREAT MC. But it would be a VERY different story. Toriyama served up the blueprint in Z. Goku is dead because of their struggle with Cell and now Gohan is the reluctant hero who remains to protect earth and has the conflict of living in his fathers shadow and up to his fathers legacy.
Idk why I’m thinking about the future trunks arc of zamasu killing all the main characters, how come future whis never intervene because if I remember he killed that beerus from killing the supreme kai, also even if they were dead they could still come back with their halos, idk why I’m just randomly thinking about that
I just remembered something Goku beat Frieza, Trunks beat Frieza and even Gohan in fusion reborn beat Frieza and Vegeta despite being the one of the four to have the biggest reasons to kill Frieza he never did
Now let me get this straight, Vegeta, and kakarot they stay training, fighting, stronger opponents now I do believe piccolo keeps up his training, but go on that barely trains and all the sudden he is a new transformation and he’s on their level you can’t be serious. This is hilarious to me. He’s more like the third or fourth strongest person, when it comes to the crew, but now that, Vegeta and Kakarot has Broly. He is still behind them because he got a new transformation. Doesn’t mean he’s stronger than them. He’s just catching up. No one has forgotten what he done in the movie it was more like it’s about time.
Important detail is Super Hero's power scaling is based on an alternate version of Super that exists only in movie canon where stuff like Blue Kaioken and Ultra Instinct don't happen. This will of course change if Toei wills it to retroactively retcon how strong Beast is, but as of right now with my previous point in mind, Beast is currently at "can one-shot Goku Blue" level.
Why do you think ui didn’t take place in movie canon? Goku didn’t use it in the broly movie but he did use it in the top, and this movie is (basically) in the same timeline as the manga, confirmed by the retelling, which had ui in both the granolah and Moro arcs.
Gohan’s the type to be on that Team Four Star’s Mr. Popo time when the world’s in danger😂😂😂😂Team Four Star Krillin’s voice: Aaaaah Gohan help us Goku’s down we need you to help us stop Broly!!! Gohan’s voice:Making toast!!! (ding!!!) Gohan’s voice:Buttering toast!!!😂😂😂😂💯
Forgot to mention, it also undermines elder kai and his ability. Gohan training with piccolo for a few hours or having a tantrum are both thousands of times more effective than an experienced supreme kai spending 24 full hours to bring out his power
Not really because the only reason he’s able to train or rage boost to the extent he can now is BECAUSE of Elder Kai’s training. Even just to turn super saiyan he had to train for a year and that was after getting his potential unlocked as a child. As he got older and stronger naturally and had another unlock by the GK his limits were raised even higher, we might not even know where it stops at this point.
His boost has been to high that's for sure but to be fair when gohan went ssj2 that was also a huge boost that did put him way over everyone else, i mean even after cell got his own ssj2 gohan was still stronger Atleast he has been back on training even if it should not be enough to put him where he is And future gohan didnt have anyone to train , never had gravity or time chamber training , no potential unlock and he probably didnt even have time to think about the chance of a form beyond super saiyan Also Gohan could be a great protagonist, he just needs to be done right like 90% of characters
The giant elephant in the room for Gohan in general, is that as long as Goku continues to be the main character for all of time, Gohan can never truly shine as his own character. Because Gohan is a character who feels almost fully designed to one day replace Goku and be the new hero/protag, but because either Toriyama changed his mind, Japan refuses to let status quo change or Toei doesn't want to lose an easy to market character like Goku ever, Gohan never got that chance. And as such was left after the Cell Saga to flounder around because he never got to truly take over Goku's protag role and really grow on his own instead of being overshadowed by his own father being eternal protagonist as long as the higher ups say it must be so.
Why wasn't Future Gohan stronger despite more years of training than his Cell Games counterpart? It's all about how lackluster his training was once the rest of the Z Fighters were killed. Trunks wasn't strong enough to be a decent sparring partner, yet. Saiyans have great potential to grow as warriors as long as they have a strong reference to go against. Goku wasn't as strong as Raditz at the beginning of Z, despite battling strong opponents for most of his life. However, within 2 years, Goku is fighting against Frieza, the strongest being in the universe aside from King Cold and Majin Buu. When Goku died in the Cell Saga, he was able to train in Other World with the strongest fighters who have ever lived, and eventually reached Super Saiyan 3. On the other hand, Vegeta quit fighting/training for a little while, then started again but without a decent sparring partner. Vegeta didn't get past SS2, but in Super, he's able to achieve Super Saiyan God and Blue thanks to proper training
What if Gohan is the Legendary Super Saiyan... The ACTUAL Super Saiyan God... It wouldn't matter how much any of those other losers train, they will always pale in comparison
Gohan Fighting kefla to a draw Makes sense He trained into gravity room before super super hero. We obviously Trained during the morrow arc 2 months. So to say his power strictly comes from a rage boost. I don't agree with that. I think the more he trains. And then if he has some down time, his power builds.
I think he will stay relevant, they made a movie to put him and piccolo at goku and vegeta's level. Gohan is my favorite but super has made him inconsistent, he lost too much power in fukkatsu no f, Picollo sacrifices for him and no power boost... in the manga goku says to vegeta that he does not feel that power on him anymore, on the manga he is actually good in the top arc but on the anime he did disapoint me i was expecting a new form there, it was teased, or at least i thought he would defeat dyspo by himself but no... moro arc i thought it is now, now ,my boy will beat og73 and have his come back, but no... now in super hero he has that potential again... again... unlocked by picollo getting hurt so why not in fukkatsu no f? Don't get me wrong i do love super hero but being a gohan fan is a rollercoaster, i think now gohan has proved again that he gives good money to toie so we'll see, i'm optimistic the time.
Gohan's power is carried but asspulls just like most people in super Everyone is a prodigy Or gets strong insanely fast Or just has reactive evolution Its kinda boring Granted Gohan's power ups have nearly always been " outta nowhere" or due to rage But imo when the power scale was lower it was more acceptable But with all the god junk now its just so crazy how big these jumps are
If Gohan was ever the MC you would literally have to make him fight a version of him where the villain has immense potential like him and both awaken their own rage boost Also Gohan might likely be used against Black Frieza though with his new form I highly doubt he’ll just randomly one shot Black Frieza given the narrative of Super (but who knows he wasn’t used against zamasu and Granola)
Some fans to think beast gohan can beat black Frieza but that couldn’t be farther from the truth. Frieza trained for 10 years to achieve that power. It beast gohan trains for the same time, then I’m curious who would win.
@@gammafrosthell yes he would. He surpasses Goku training a year. Buu saga he surpasses him again. In the manga before T.O.P. Gohan train in the time chamber
He's written consistently inconsistent. Doesn't just apply to him either, future trunks hell even Piccolo at this point. Honestly most characters in Super outside of Goku and Vegeta at this point really do not need to work to be power relevant. There's good and bad sides to it but I honestly wish we got to see more of the other characters developing their strengths outside of typical training.

Gohan is the epitome of a gary stu
Iirc, Gohan mentioned that he's been practicing in secret at the end of the Super Hero movie. I reckon if we actually got to see Gohan training, the community would remember what he has accomplished and what he CAN accomplish. But the thing about Gohan is he doesnt stive to fight like Goku and Vegeta do. Planet Level has a very good video about why "You Dont Understand Gohan" and I recommend people who haven't seen it to watch it
Practicing the special beam canon is not training by Dragon ball standards stop it
The problem with that twist is that quite literally nothing in the story supports it. Gohan said he trained, but the whole movie quite literally says he didn't. You have to throw in clues somewhere.
@@spritvio639flaw is real
Hey Qaaman dope vid. My biggest hope is that we see more Gohan and Piccolo in the coming manga chapters and arcs. Also since we're talking about main characters. How do you feel about Uub being the main character? Reincarnation of Kid Buu, Goku's first pupil, lives in the shadow of what Kid Buu did to the earth. Seems like a character you could write a story around
But can Toriyama and DB writers make a compelling character arc for uub?
Imagine if we get Gohan just wrecking Black Frieza (let's say after getting god Ki on top of his current form which without it already rivals Goku and Vegeta) 🤨 that would be so badass and funny 😆 I just hope that Gohan will not disappear and DBS will fix his character a bit so that Qaaman's idea of Gohan being a bad main character would be wrong + I would like to see an evil Gohan arc 😀
Do u think Toriyama care to fix dbs 😂
When toriyama was asked why he changed the name to beast, he said it’s because he wouldn’t know what to call his next form if he got one. I think god ki for gohan is the next logical step and like you said he should combine it with beast.
Couldnt imagine how strong gohan could potentially become if someone close to him got killed.. like videl or pan, i know in the buu arc this kindve happened with chichi and stuff , i just feel like since gohan has his own family its a little different. A simple kidnapping in a movie boosted gohan to a broken level, imagine a death..
I agree with everything you stated honestly!!
Here!!!
I just love these videos of qaaman
Bro, Gohan seems like he's gonna be an entomologist. He just discovered a new species of beetle that goes "Super Saiyan" when they are in danger.
I Always Said Zamasu Stole The Wrong Body 🤷🏾
I gotta disagree. I think going back to the narrative of only focusing on Goku and Vegeta is incredibly boring and repetitive.
Adding Gohan and Piccolo to the forefront alongside them opens up a lot more avenues for interesting and diverse stories.
Sounds like car doors in the background. Do they ever drive you crazy? Lol I know your pain.
proud to be your first view tonight (No views 17 seconds ago)
It is Qaaman here today! 🤩
bro i thought i was the only one thinking this. but its just a goku vs super man thing that's how it started
GOHAN DOES IMPORTANT BUG RESEARCH DAMMIT
The reason Gohan can’t slack off and then just train a little bit and unlock all his power again easily is because he’s had his potential unlocked by Elder Kai
I just assumed Gohan's studying is about insects given in DBS Super Hero his room was littered with different stuff related to insects, and he discovered a new breed of ants that turned yellow like SSJ. All I'm hoping now they do something different for Gohan instead of repeating the same story 3 times in a row. 🙏
Fandom doesn’t read, watch or remember at this point 😂
Not forgetting, their not accepting. We know it was a giant ass pull fan service, and were done riding the rollercoaster that is gohans power scaling
1:37 you said it right there
Both Goku and Vegeta can go anywhere around the 12 Universes to Face against Ultimate Opponents, so either Toriyama, Torotaro or even Toei Animation could just let Gohan be the new Protector of Earth or Hell even protect Universe 7 as a whole, he doesn't have to take Goku's place as Main Character, but him and Piccolo has to Assemble the New Generation of Fighters like Goten and Trunks (and possibly Pan, Bulla and even Uub) to prepare for upcoming greater Foes sometime in the Future,
DBS: Superhero (Movie & Manga) shows that Goku and Vegeta will not always be around to help the others in need to save the Earth or perhaps Universe 7, so that's why we have to get Gohan to become a Fighter again (but he can still be a Scholar at the same time because having Brains is better than having no Brains at all, just like Clark Kent/Superman).
Gohan beast is awesome 😎
The only roles I see Gohan working in well is if he was Goten's and Trunks's big brother, and as a mentor for the next generation. Gohan failed in his fights will Cell and Buu because he never got the humility lesson Goku got from Master Roshi in the 21st World Martial Arts Tournament. I think it would be interesting to see him as a teacher to Goten, Trunks, Pan, and maybe some more characters. To teach them how to be a better than he was.
He became so powerful and not even the Gods or Goku and Vegeta could sense it.
Gohan Beast looks like ultra Instant with that white/sliver long hair. Could see Beerus and Whis sense his Kai
Fax
DBZ keeps forgetting its own lore in regards to Gohan. If you think about it, he should’ve been the one the ritual was performed on in BoG. But they inexplicably made Goku stronger again.
Don't expect me to be impressed, to this day the only person Gohun has defeated is Cell. And both times he needed to be motivated by someone to rise to the occasion he couldn't do it alone.
let the beast unleashed
Gohan is my favorite character but yeah I am sad they are just putting focus back on main sayins especially cuz gohan told Frezia if he ever got out of line he would stop him
Superman will win because of comics no 1 reads and he’s indestructible even though Batman gave him the hands n threw him across a room
They also left him out in the DB Sparking Zero trailer. On top of all that they showed Trunks twice, all the human Z fighters andeven Mr. Satan, smh.
I’m always gonna call Gohan’s rage moments including his beast form Ragehan it sounds so much better😎👍🏽🔥🔥🔥🔥💯
They call him Goathan for a reason
Edit: My comment got more ranty than intended, 1st para is really the only part relevant 😅
Super is all over the place with power scaling it's ridiculous, most of these new transformations I don't think were really earned, and they were just a quick way to make characters who were lagging behind relevant again.
Go more into Roshi
It’s more like Go Ham on your opponents when he gets mad
We didn't forget. We just don't respect him
I think it’s the ox king genes mixed with the saiyan genes that’s why trunks doesn’t have the same asspull potential
Piccolo represent.
He’s a scholar of scholarly things lol.
Gohan is build different image if he trained with whis even if it's just for a couple of days.
The only thing that was legendary about it was how shameless the marketing of pure nostalgia was and giving Gohan another win through ass pulling.
Do people forget that Gohan actually trains? He doesn't show it and plays it off casually, but he does train
Does he train with actual gods?
@@QaamansLand well, no......but then again does he really need to? Lol
@@GooberGlumbus of course he needs to, you're saying if Gohan trained with God's he wouldn't be stronger?
*cough cough* freeza didn’t train with gods
He used the hyperbolic time chamber to achieve black freeza which is stronger than both goku and vegeta
(Black freeza is so dumb and out of nowhere)
Gohan only gets power ups for one reason, sell toys that's it but I get what you said Gohan only has power according to the plot.
They tried to Goku Superman with the first English dub but Gohan was closer…he’s a strong (or weak) as the plot demands
Idk why I’m thinking about the future trunks arc of zamasu killing all the main characters, how come future whis never intervene because if I remember he killed that beerus from killing the supreme kai, also even if they were dead they could still come back with their halos, idk why I’m just randomly thinking about that
I just remembered something Goku beat Frieza, Trunks beat Frieza and even Gohan in fusion reborn beat Frieza and Vegeta despite being the one of the four to have the biggest reasons to kill Frieza he never did
I agree Qaaman Gohan would not be a great main character. Gohan is to passive and a reactive character who waits for things to happen.
Gohan is just a science dork
Gohan so strong he cant be remembered
All of this potential was meant to come from him being a hybrid right?
Imagine if Goku and Vegeta just had more kids 💀
His boost has been to high that's for sure but to be fair when gohan went ssj2 that was also a huge boost that did put him way over everyone else, i mean even after cell got his own ssj2 gohan was still stronger
Atleast he has been back on training even if it should not be enough to put him where he is
And future gohan didnt have anyone to train , never had gravity or time chamber training , no potential unlock and he probably didnt even have time to think about the chance of a form beyond super saiyan
Also Gohan could be a great protagonist, he just needs to be done right like 90% of characters
I actually didn't see what Gohan did. Didn't see the movie for full, and when the manga was almost in the Beast part I dropped.
Training with Goku in time chamber allowed him to see his inner potential.
Future Gohan never got that chance
I thought only reason was his potential was unlocked And future gohan never had potential unlocked.
Gohan just plot armor never been into him because of that
Seeing as Kamehameha's were multipliers in the saiyan saga I don't actually think the headbut was stronger then anything goku had ever done.
I'm a Gohan stan and I agree, he's way too busted
Didn't the manga show Gohan as a professor?
What if Gohan is the Legendary Super Saiyan... The ACTUAL Super Saiyan God... It wouldn't matter how much any of those other losers train, they will always pale in comparison
lol
Let’s not forget that Gohan would’ve never gotten this strong without his dads.
Welcome to Dragon Ball Super
Where everyone has infinitely more potential than Goku and Vegeta and require little to no training or God Ki
Hence to me personally the dragon ball story ends with Z.
Gohan Fighting kefla to a draw Makes sense
He trained into gravity room before super super hero.
Hopefully Frieza folds him like a cheap pancake.
Gohan's power is carried but asspulls just like most people in super
Everyone is a prodigy
Or gets strong insanely fast
Or just has reactive evolution
Its kinda boring
Granted Gohan's power ups have nearly always been " outta nowhere" or due to rage
But imo when the power scale was lower it was more acceptable
But with all the god junk now its just so crazy how big these jumps are
If Gohan was ever the MC you would literally have to make him fight a version of him where the villain has immense potential like him and both awaken their own rage boost
Also Gohan might likely be used against Black Frieza though with his new form I highly doubt he’ll just randomly one shot Black Frieza given the narrative of Super (but who knows he wasn’t used against zamasu and Granola)
