Just love all of your valuable information you share! Straight to the point. Love the split screen 👍👍👍👍
Thank you so much for taking the time to teach your wonderful talent ☺️
I watched a ton of painting videos over the years I've always been fascinated by glazing acrylic over other colors yours is the best one I've ever seen and I'll take so much away from this one thank you so much for the video
You are the best teacher. I've learned more from you that I have a ton of others. THANK YOU❣️
I'm so glad!
Your tutorials are so informative and easy to follow. It’s also entertaining when you speak your thoughts out loud. Thank you Lisa. Love the subject of this painting.
Glad you like them!
You always do such awesome tutorials Lisa! I've been following you for a while now and I just wanted to say thank you for what you do. These tutorials have helped me along my painting journey far more than you could ever know!!! ❤️

This came out stunning!!! Far better than even the reference photo! I love all the colors and amazed how much the layering and ease of using the rake brush then glazing over just transformed it!
Coloured pencils are my thing, but watching this really makes me want to paint!
Gorgeous work as always Lisa 👌❤️
Thank you Lisa, This really helps with the white first then laying the choice colors on top Wow! That brings it all together😮 You made him a Very Handsome Chicken😊 I Love his colors❤

Can you post another tutorial with glazing techniques? :D
Top is the Comb, the face flap below the beak is a wattle, and the face flap under the eye is the ear 🙂
Beautiful!!!❤
Thank you! 😊
Gorgeous!
Thank you! 😊
I love painting birds. Need help with backgrounds and feathers! I will check if you have any pertinent videos.
Beautiful 😊
Thank you so much 😀
I looked it up... it's the rooster's head COMB... ha!! 😅❤
Lisa... at the end of your video, also show your reference photo along side of your finished painting... if you don't mind showing the difference of the two? 🤔🙄
You can get the reference photo at my website, the direct link is in the video description :)
I love your videos, could you paint a portrait soon? thank you Manuela
How do you mix yellow ochre with only primary colors of acrylic paint?
Watching you paint is like watching a construction project -- you separate it all into different sections, layers I guess. Here is the outline, here is the value, here is some fine detail, here is glazing. It isn't like watching you paint a painting, it's like watching you BUILD a painting. And yes it looks weird in mid-rendering -- so does a building before the exterior bits go on.
That's a good way to describe it!!
Por favor traducir en español, gracias
The red top on rooster is the COMB ...
Thank you :)
I have a terrible time with the liquitex basic. Color just does not go on the canvas. 😢
Manatees with a baby manatee would be wonderful 😆
The red on his head is called his cone.
Would Love Love Love to see the reference photo during your painting. You refer to it ALL the time but it's just a distance memory to us the viewer, perhaps you can make the sleeping dogs video a little smaller and insert the reference or photo of the end painting. While you add colors and such we have no idea what you are going for or doing, but you keep talking about the reference. Really we see it in the beginning briefly. I think that is why your painting don't give us confidence as we cant remember what value or end color you are going for.
It's linked in the video description, you can download it and make it any size you like 😊
