If you’re trying to kill a bison, especially on a hard difficulty, it’s best to wave through them and make them hit each other, hope this helps anyone who’s having troubles!
I was able to take down an entire herd with a single wolf on easy mode before. I chose the fescue herd at they’re the smallest is not the smallest herd, and they have one spike and one buck, so it’s not that hard. I took as many cows as I could and then rested a smidge to regain some health. After the long process of sleeping and killing, I then got the spike and finished the buck. Afterwards the fescue herd was no more.
EVERYTHING IS OK! As a Wolfquest AE professional I am here to help! First of all never try to bite bison no matter what you will die. The best way to kill not only one but with enough skill at least 5 bison not including the remaining one is this: Lead two or more bison to each other and run in between them. They will hit each other and eventually kill themselves. You can do this with every animal in the game that has an AOE attack. Of course this takes a lot of skill to do so you need lots of practice! I am actually the one who invented it even before bison were added to the game. Good Luck! Ask me anything if you need!

Im single player? Maybe if ur very lucky In multiplayer? Definitely. I've killed many bison in multiplayer. Once u kill one its a lot easier to kill more. We went on a killing spree. Killed some bear cubs too
Just thought of this while watching, I would probably get a strong mate and take one most far back from their troop and attack from their legs. (Idk what a group of bison is called XD)
You probably can with a good mate, easy difficulty and a bison low on health, but you have no hopes of killing a bison on hard without a pack

I was once in a pack, and we tried, it was pretty fun! Bt we all had to respond about 6-7 times.

Maybe you shouldn't attack with low health and full hunger lol. (Full hunger decreases stamina)
