I explored their territory/what used to be their territory. On that 4th or 5th day, they came back. I got absolutely mauled lol. It was a fun experiment, although I died.
theres a spawn hex in each of their territories that never goes down past 10% and a bunch of hexes out of reach of the accessible map so no you cant take over all the territories
I feel like this completely ruins the entire point of the game though- wolf quest is supposed to be a realistic game based around how wolves actually behave in the wild. And in the wild, there’s no way wolves would ever try to completely wipe out every pack around them, simply because it’s too dangerous
This closest thing to this i did was leaving Junction 3 hexes after I caught them LITERALLY RESTING in my territory, but it was fun, and eventually they regained their land and I didn't end up seeing them again.
I think every wolf quest players worst night mare would be taking over every territory because of how long it would take . I'm happy to see someone tried! since you did you disserve a sub :D

Quick hack if u didn’t know- marking on a scent post maxes the scent hex, also marking on a stranger territory scent post decreases it dramatically but it’s more difficult to get there depending on the hex that your marking!
I super appreciate all the work and time that went into this- shame it didn't turn out as intended :( entertaining nonetheless! I hope to see more possible WolfQuest challenges in the future ;)
You know what most the time I'm just watching or playing the game I just realized something every time he killed a wolf some music would play now I just noticed just the little bit of detail to the game that I'm surprised if no one really knows about it we probably do after probably killing almost 30 wolves or more
I did this when i first got this game, only a few years ago. Took over pretty much like 70% of the map, scent marking and obliterating two of the packs, litrrally maticulously mass pack fighting, or picking them off one by one... played all day long. But could not get that last pack, and finally burned myself out on the game. 2024 now and i just started a new game, on the new DLC map. This time, after aiming to take over just one packs full territory and staying there. Spending almost 6hrs real time to do it... only to find out that i picked the only pack on the map, whose territory only had two dens total, way down on the boarder of two territories. So now im just maintaining a big spot right in the center. Got my first den and wolves, playing a relatively chill game 😉🙌🏽 This game is amazing in just how addictive it can be
I would love to but once I went to the home hex for prospect peak just to see if they had anything interesting. Saw about 20 wolves there and somehow scared em all off.
I remember the wapiti lake wolves my mate and i just finished killing a bull elk and right as we were about to eat 4 of them showed up and chased us away leaving us even more injured. Left and overtook all their territory far from their home hex and slowly made my way back over there killing every single wolf that came into my path and eventually we wiped out the entire pack.

I love how that the wolves are killing all the enemies, and going to dominate the whole world.

You should try it now, with the persistent pack update.
It's easier to go to the scent posts the other packs leave behind and pee on it. it reduces there perscentage by a lot

it angers me that at 0:44 you didn’t look for a scent post and instead took the long way.
You should've made the territory you took over yours so they couldng reclaim it

if there was a way to remove the auto turn back at the border then it probley work
