Nah, I agree with him. Majority of the vehicle taunts are normal things so a hovering/flying platform taunt would stand out a bit too much. Maybe if it was closer to the ground like the Soldier rocket taunt.

@@aereonexapprentice7205 I mean, I suppose things like a teleporter is so established into canon that it doesn't even seem like fiction despite not existing irl. Dane only rlly thought about it for a few seconds anyway. But yeah I think if it was closer to the ground and even a bit smaller it could look a lot less out of place. Like a hoverboard
It's not really "fiction-y" especially since TF2 IS fiction. It just looks like extraterrestrial type beat because of it's design. It looks like a UFO. A hovering platform is possible because of Engie's intelligence but the fact that the platform's aesthetic looks so alien made it look like it isn't man-made.

I think the dog taunt could be a really good new turret for engineer
Here’s some ideas:
Level 1: will search around the map for ammunition and when it sees a player it attacks the player by biting him
Level 2: gets a small rocket back bag to shoot smaller versions of soldier’s rockets at the player and gains the ability to give health packs to the engineer

I'd love a wrench that makes drones instead of sentries and the drones spin around you. The drones would deal 25% less damage (compared to a sentry) and require constant metal or they start taking damage, but since they follow you and instead of having their own health they give you 75 overheal which is their health. This would make for a engineer playstyle which does not require you to keep staying near sentries.
I'm gonna predict valve will bring the towering texan into the game. They love their pillar hats

the devil whacker could replace the sentry for a paint shotting turret if a enemy gets hit by paint the intire team will see the painted enemy through the walls may seem a little op so i though about a other use for the paint , well if u got hit by the paint the damage taken would be increased by 25% and slow down enemys,but the paint cant deal any damage , so lets talk about the levels of the turret,level 1:has a cooldown for shoot a paint 6 seconds cooldown, lvl 2:faster shooting speed and is able to make sentrys target the enemy that got hit by paint, lvl 3: adds a paint sticky granade the granade stick to the enemy and explodes after 3 seconds the explosion deals damage and slowdown enemys but the granades are like the demoman sticky bombs that means it is affected by gravity however u can aim with the wrangler tho , welp is just a little sugestion that i made for the devil whacker
