Kyoko told Mondo to throw Monokuma, and Mondo threw him so he didn’t get blown up, then the next Monokuma clone didn’t physically pursue Mondo any further, but instead warned that another violation of the rules won’t end up with a slap on the butt (a common punishment in Japan at the time, using a ruler, stick, paddle, etc.)
Junko basically told Hajime that his alternate personality (Izuru) was the mastermind, so Hajime didn’t figure it out. But I still don’t know how he was able to slip an infected flash drive into the Neo World Program’s computer without anyone seeing him touch something he shouldn’t 😅😅
If you think about it, all the 1st Trials have a wrongful person get killed, Leon was defending himself, Teruteru was trying to kill Nagito before he killed someone (so to protect), and Kaede was not the killer at all, but rather a red herring who died on false charges

He was panicking, and he's still a young teenager too, but he deserved to be punished even so (although maybe something.. Less extreme than his execution). Teruteru, like you said, accidentally killed UI, and he's probably my favorite killer out of all the other ones in 2. He has a strong relationship with his mom and the fact that he worries about her so much shows how much they are close. Man, just imagining how it hit him when he remembered what he did to her makes me sad. And Kaede was, again, like you said, wasn't even guilty of murder. Heck, if anything, it was her thoughts on killing someone, but it IS for a good reason.
Im dead serious this dude knows how to show the positive side of every character I despised teruteru but after seeing 3:55 i realized he only did it to help the others and tbh, he just wanted to see his momma again.

Love it to see Teruteru in the "genuinely wanted to escape" trio, no joke he's the one I wanted to save the most while playing the game. Poor guy wants to check up on his mom because she's sick and he's worried she'll overwork herself, that's so sad.
Im gonna make a analysis: NPC is a genius he uses the funny tropes first to make us laugh. then he uses new world order with serious depressing tropes to make us cry for the majority of the video and then instantly comes up with a funny trope again to cheer us up he is making us go through a hell of an emotional rollercoaster and i love every second of it, amazing video bro

I think miu should also be in helped even after death cause even when she died she built things that helped them escape and if they never found those things they wouldn’t have made so much more progress(although technically kokichi gave it to them since miu built it and said it)

Additionally, Byakuya should fit that category too, because after Mondo’s death (in the game), he reveals that he saw Mondo exit the boy’s locker room, then after Mondo left the pool area, he walked into the locker room to see Chihiro’s dead body, and that’s why he already knew Mondo was the culprit. He also revealed that his motive for tampering with the crime scene was to find out who he has to worry about being discovered by if he’s gonna be the culprit.

I have some ideas for part 5! The to-be victim: Leon, Nagito, Kokichi The "Non-humans" : Alter Ego, Chiaki and K1B0 I'll probably add more if I have any ideas.
I got confused on the to-be victims cuz I wasn't sure why nagito and kokichi were there but then I remembered: Teruteru had meant to kill nagito, not "byakuya" Kokichi almost died in chapter 3 after he tripped and hit his head, he even faked his death pretty convincingly because while hifumi had sloppily done it and used way too much blood(especially compared to taka who had died from a bigger hammer yet had drawn less blood) kokichi used his own blood which he lost from that fall!
I’ve played the danganronpa games for a few years since I learned about the 1st one, and I was aware just how many ideas were recycled into each game while still having a unique flavor to every character, but I’m still blown away by just how many recycled ideas there are
