For the motive of 2-4: There's no exit door. Because they were in a virtual reality Monokuma could easily just spawn them all inside the building, meaning that an exit door isn't necessary at all, so Monokuma wouldn't have added any.
New idea then: Canalballism! (Jk)
@@UniversusVasator I mean, in the long run, someone might have tried. And Monokuma would have counted that as a kill, so everybody would have been freed (after the corresponding class trial).
With this being said I think the way Gundam and Nekomaru handled it was more or less perfect. They essentially both sacrificed themselves and Gundam pretended to try to get away with the murder so that the others wouldent feel bad for his death (even though they ended up finding that out too)
@@toumabyakuyanot if they are already dead from starvation!
I know I'm months late but, considering Monokuma is obviously breaking the rules to force the students to kill. How to beat this motive is quite simple. Just use the bombs and blow up a wall to escape. Why yes, it's virtual reality, probably wouldn't work. Though the students arent aware of this(Chiaki doesn't count), they are literally starving to death, and if any of them could realize that the headmaster broke their own rules to get what they want. Then they have literally nothing to lose.

The third motive didn't have any requirements to kill though, the only thing required was the book itself, a fire source, and an effigy of the person you want to get back.
Needing a killing to occur would also contradict a part of Angie's reasoning for taking the book and choosing to revive rantaro, aka "to use him as a sacrifice in case another time motive shows up" it would make no sense to sack someone for a sacrifice
now that i think about it, why was it even a motive?? How was the book that revives people meant to motivate you to kill people? Was it the suspense? the mistrust of seeing someone who died, again? would the revived person be a traitor?
It's the other way around, actually. Monokubs decided to PREVENT killing game from happening, hence - gave the students a chance to revive someone they loved and get along with each other.
Desire for murder, however, flamed from within each student because of their different personal motivations, live styles and etc. And Necronomicon became accidental spark to ignite that flame, because as soon as Angie gave in to her inner desire to "salvage" everyone, it became a new spark to flame someone else's desires, hence - the chain reaction, in which at least 2 to 4 character were having thoughts of murder(at the very least, Tenko herself admitted, that she had a thought about killing Angie for what she had done to others and to Himiko specifically). At the end of which Korekiyo just said "fuck it, the wait just doesn't worth it anymore" and decided to prepare for the shipment of a new friend to his abusive grooming older sister.
Since it is technically a motive of a personal nature, it's impossible to avoid, so the only way to partially negate the overall tension is to have a buddy system suggested for the first half of the first motive.
@@dan_man3087 OH FUCK WAIT YOU'RE RIGHT I TOTALLY FORGOT ABOUT THAT PART
I think the motive to kill would be from the students arguing on who to bring back.
I've always thought they could get some bombs from the octagon and blow up the elevator to get out of the funhouse
Kokichi and Kaito were the most "don't, just don't, fuck around and find out? na-ah pass" and honestly?? Kings behavior 👑
It is funny how as you play the game it seems like Kokichi is just trying to make the killing game interesting but in hindsight it becomes clear he really was trying to stop it the whole time
1 thing i realized: across the whole danganronpa series, the numbers of female blackendeds (or the ones that appeared in the closing argument and/or executed) are 3
THH: Celeste, Sakura, Junko
GD: Peko, Mikan, Chiaki
V3: Kaede, Kirumi, Tsumugi
idk if you knew this but just sharing ;)
People like to pick on sayaka for choosing Leon as her victim and say he survived because he’s an athlete, but it was clear from the crime scene and the gold sword sheath that he only survived because the sword was in the room. Leon is not a fighter and nothing in makoto’s room that would’ve saved him besides the sword from the time he entered the room and being attacked. And sayaka chose him because he made it clear he was interested in her and he wasn’t the brightest person around. Replay or watch a video on chapter 1 to see when seeds of sayaka’s choices were planted.
My question is why the hell she didn't choose Yasuhiro... He's also dumb as bricks, he's less athletic, and he's extremely gullible. She could write literally anything and he'd come crawling over. Writing something about it being a game show, that he's been selected as the winner because he was the most popular with the audience.... Yada yada yada... He already believed the entire thing was a prank before, so...
@@Peony-ff5ih Leon and sayaka are a similar height. Yasuhiro is way taller, he probably wouldve toppled her, even eith a weapon.
or chihiro. Chihiro is the shortest person there and probably the weakest.
@@sonic..bettersimple, she saw that chihiro was too innocent of a person to kill. And she didn’t know that she was putting everyone else at risk, remember the class trials rules weren’t known yet.
THH
Motive 1: Stick together
Motive 2: Listen to Kiyotaka
Motive 3: Burn the money
Motive 4: Sakura tells everyone why she was the traitor and they all work together
SDR2
Motive 1: Burn the memories
Motive 2: Don’t play the freaking game
Motive 3: Social distancing and find the cure
Motive 4: Don’t go to the fun house
V3
Motive 1: Either fake a death to trick Monokuma or everyone kills the same person (preferably Ryoma or Tsumugi, maybe Korekiyo) and they all escape as the blackened
Motive 2: Either listen to Kokichi/Kaito or don’t watch it
Motive 3: Don’t use it
Motive 4: Don’t use it
Literally don’t use anything Monokuma gives you
Tbh I don’t think a multi-blackening plot would even work, Monokuma would probably pull some wacky stunt like cautioning off the crime scene to make a clear and detailed investigation to determine which blow was actually the killing blow
@@freezeburn9875 I was thinking that we all stab the exact same location at the exact same time
2-2: destroy the game so no one plays it
@@MicahBlanck-ks8sg That too
2-3 is actually a problem. Considering it's a virtual reality, I can sit under the assumption that there is no cure, and the "despair bugs" are literally just implementing code into the character
You don’t need to kill someone to use the Necronomicon, Angie was about to bring someone back without needing to kill
Really love your Danganronpa content man, many Danganronpa youtuber that i like stop making videos 🥲, anyway keep up the great work!
Komaru looks so different in THH and ultra despair girls 😰
That's aging for ya!
@@newbiegamelover4767 Like how blonde kids' hair tends to darken as they get older, I like to think that Komaru got greener with time
the V3 chapter 4 part was funny to me, the way you just said "Kokichi f-ing stole the key card" and his dialogue showing "yoink!" made me laugh😭
seriously tho wasnt the motive for chapter 4 v3 the real world? hence why Miu made the virtual world programme?
bro gave us time at the end of the video to discuss our thoughts with a partner lol
For the second motive you couldnt aliviate the burden so easily as monokuma was gonna share the secret to everyone anyways. I think given enough time you might have convinced everyone to share all their secrets, but the deadline put on by monokuma put them against a corner and made most people react naturally negative to the idea of sharing.
Also Toko confided in byakuya her secret and it was used against her, in this murder school if you give a weakness over someone they might see it as an advantage to exploit.
Yeah you're kinda just screwed with the case 1 & 2 motives.
I mean - Toko shared it with the one person she should've have shared it with unless she was gonna share it with the others anyway.
Byakuya did her a favor by revealing Syo
Didn't Rantaro say that he wanted the killing game too?
I'm pretty sure that was because he was in a previous killing game and sacrificed himself to become the Ultimate Survivor for the next game, game 53. I don't think he necessarily wanted it, but because he chose to sacrifice himself, he said he did because he willingly started a new game by doing so.
@@pak... So he joined because of his will
Rantaro was forced because someone from his game had to join, so he volunteered
@@Kaylee-Bear And that is my point. He volunteered.
@@OberKiwi944 yea but he was forced to
I think the second game's chapter 4 motive is unbeatable. One of the major reveals for that game was that it took place in a virtual world. If the world is a simulation, impossible feats in the real world become possible here. Meaning it is possible to move a group of people into a building without an entrance or exit without leaving behind a way in or out. Usami did it in the prologue as an empty digital void turns into a tropical paradise.
Also Monokuma took steps to prevent them from knowing about the fact the building didn't have an entrance or exit. It's why they were knocked out on the train, instead of taking the train and going through a door into the Funhouse.
Help!! Im currently in a killing game and the motive is eather killing or showing browser history and I don't want people knowing I searched nagito feet pics!!!1!1 What should I do??????😢😢
You coward, SHOW THEM
Dw many people searched that you can relax the participants relate to u

@@alicatfelix5144 yh the ture..😞💔
Kinda shows how tough the motives are for the most part. They're heavily personal, so the fact that the motives need a sense of trust system is already asking a lot out of the students. So, I don't really blame any of the students for killing, maybe how they killed, but not for what they killed for.
Btw sharing your secrets don't work because of danganronpa despair time chapter two plot. you know what i mean
I dont think i could share my motive at the 2 chapter of trigger happy havoc its probably the most outrageous shit ever ngl
Didn't kokichi in DRV3 suggest that they should all watch the motive videos together and nobody bothered to listen to him
my cat just tapped on this video while i was scrolling lol
I mostly forget that Sakura is a female
Edit: don’t try to kill the mastermind it’s a 1 out of 16(including you) Keade tried killing the mastermind accidentally “killed” Rantaro and was executed
I don't think the money motive can simply just be burned. Monokuma would more than likely add another rule that prohibits anyone from sabotaging a motive.
The starvation motive is pretty much impossible to avoid. They spent soo much time trying to get out of that tower and still failed. Besides monokuma has control over the simulation so he probably made sure that killing was inevitable.
The chapter 3 motive for V3 wasn't that if you killed someone you could bring someone else back. The motive was literally just you can bring someone back. That caused Angie to be in the hallway, and the seance with tenko that killed both of them because Korekiyo is nuts
A lot of these can be defused by sharing all the info openly. Kokichi was onto something. Makoto tried to do the same with the blackmail motive, but the people with the weightier secrets refused. If Makoto were more forceful he could have insisted.
But the twist in V3.1 is nobody was forced to participate.
Oh and there was one more killing game motive. The student council. The answer is the same as a lot of the others: share the info or ignore it. (Then get shot by Mukie.)
The only issue I have with the third motive for the money. Is that burning it seems like the only and I think is the best idea. But let's just hope that the person that really wanted that money doesn't try to kill you out of spite.
FINALLY YOU PSOTED IT IVE BEEN LOOKING FORWARD TO THIS SM MAN ITS MY MOTIVE TO LIVE.
For the last one, to beat the motive, continue playing danganronpa!
So the answer was the power of friendship the whole time.
V3-3 is so easy to counter that the own game did. The damn book had nothing to do with Korekiyo's murders and I still don't know what the hell Monokuma and the Monokubs were expecting to happen.
This video made me realize just how based kokichi is. Mf was literally right everytime

SCOUT TF2 JUMPSCARE-
Real question is....What if there a orphan? And they might not have any kinda worth?
while you cant beat dr1 motive 4, sakura could have left a note saying "btw ima die"... oh wait she did and monokuma stole and altered that shit cause hes an asshole.
Aside from this, some motives feel way too targeted
dr1 motive 2 hard targets mondo and to lesser extent others, since we dont know everyones secret we dont know if others had actual heavy stuff in there other then chihiro, who was actually the smart one and died for it
dr1 motive 3 is less heavily weighted but still a bad motive given that togami literally gives 0 shits about money and if not for celestes insane vampire rp fantasy i dont think it would have worked on her either since you know shes top tier gambling she has the money.
for dr2
ch2 is like you said a hard target to certain people
ch3 by itself isnt a hard target but became one both with how mikan reacted to the motive and how mikan was put in the position of having a literal 100% obeying slave to deal with this shit.
sadly a buddy system wouldnt work since the hospital rules say that only one person can stay behind far as i remember. thats why this shit went down at night too when mikan was alone
ch4: finally someone that targets noone.
for dr3
ch1 was kinda the plan anyway but backfired. tho i agree a buddy system would have potentially helped
if we count non monokuma motives you forgot dr2 ch5, which is nagito causing a murder to seperate future foundation and remnants.
ad dr1 motive 2 - Toko's secret was literally that she has another personality, the serial killer Genocider Shyo, which is very heavy in my opinion. And she was actually the smart one too, she told somebody she trusted. Unfortunately for her, she told Byakuya, who used it against her later.
@@the_teri you know i forgot about this one somehow. of course it would be her secret in that motive.
NPC, how’s Your Turn to Cry coming along?
4:47
“Imagine you killed someone because you didn’t want anyone to find out you peed your bed” got me rolling
'Using kaguichis mechanical skills to alter the elevator' tf do you mean by that? Make it so the elevator goes downward? Because thats not how elevators work
The problem with sharing is that the scenario is set up for them to never trust each other in the first place. The moment a motive is dropped everyone is thinking about how someone might stab them in the back, litterally. These characters don't 'know' each other.
3:45 💀💀💀💀☠️☠️
love the video lol
Gonna need honest I would consider them all except the 10 million dollars because well I don’t know why but I know I don’t kill people because that’s rude

Motive videos: you already see them dead why kill to see their grizzly demise in person
Cod motive videos until V3 were so stupid imo
What are talking about ,the motive video tells you something happened to your most important person and the only way find out is to leave. How is that stupid? And remember the cast are teenagers so it’s extra pressuring for them.
@@mikeval1525 cause the way they are shown, it's not something about to happen in 3-5 business days... it's something about to happen... like the day the video is taken. There's literally no way to prevent the conclusion to the videos, all it changes it being able to see your dead most important people IN PERSON hooray ^^
imo knowing your loved ones are probably dead would make one less likely to care about escaping not more
the despair disease is actually unbeatable though i think
i'm pretty sure monokuma can just pick and choose whoever gets that motive, finding a cure? seems unlikely, not getting sick? atleast one person got infected without it being spread so it's likely it could happen to anyone outside the hospital, not to mention monokuma probably can pick who gets what so with the buddy system, not only could the buddy get sick themselves, there's a chance they both get something that leads to murder
Plus Danganronpa 2 is a VR program fully controlled and governed by Monokuma, the cure isn’t a material resource that can be found, it’s a string of code that only Monokuma can modify

You don’t have to murder for the necronomicon to work. In fact, it wasn’t even why the chapter 3 murders occurred.
