Congratulations on starting your channel! I enjoyed your video and really admire how unique your collection is-especially the Aston. Thank you for sharing that with me; it truly means a lot.
That ferrari f430 spyder 0:46 is fricking fast Anyway Welcome back, brother. I missed your videos Sooo I was thinking About the mclaren senna the steering motor idk what happened it doesn't steer again I made sure everything is in its place You got any idea's If you ever got the senna could you please make a video on how to modify it Thank you Good videos ❤
Is it really? I haven’t had the chance to find out. I had planned on adding speakers and repainting it, but that project has taken a back seat. Thank you! I really appreciate it. I missed making videos and chatting about cars and RCs. Hmm, does it turn at all? The only issue I’ve personally encountered is alignment slipping out of place with each turn of the wheels. Aside from that, the stock cars I’ve driven have been pretty solid. I do plan on buying a Senna-I have an idea for it. So yeah, making a video on the modification process shouldn’t be a problem.
yeah, it's fast (when it's modified). I tried it once tbh (I flipped it 3 times) Yeah, it does turn, but like it struggles, I tried it on other types of floor like my desk or the road it is the same problem Thanks for your opinion. i will try to figure that out on the senna Thanks also for your videos they do teach me. Thanks for posting
@@biscuits. Yeah, it gets a little difficult to prevent that from happening once it's modified. Hm, yeah, I'm not sure about that. Maybe once I finally order my Senna, we can compare cars. Thank you! I'm glad to hear that. Having fun, sharing, and learning are definitely high on my priority list 😁.
I did this once, same thing, the gear needs to spin on the shaft, if it doesn't then the friction of the shaft melts the mounts. I'm thinking of changing the outer large gear so I can change the pinion gear and get it printed at pcbway in metal to make it more durable. Even possibly modify it to add bearings on the shaft so there's no play at all or risk of this happening. did you find the gear module is different for the 2 gears or was that just my memory playing tricks on me (I haven't looked at this for over a year now)
That’s exactly what happened. It irritates me that I forgot about it, as I’m pretty sure that’s how I wrecked my Huracan’s original gearbox. My Huracan now has metal gears for both the pinion and compound gear, but the compound gear seems to be wearing down the pinion rather quickly. I’m not sure if this is due to material selection, fitment, or both. Interestingly, the large plastic gear on the driveshaft seems to be just fine. Upgrading to metal gears and bearings would be a great improvement. Yes, in my calculations, the gear modulus was different.
@ if I remember right one was 0.5 and the other 0.6? I think I’ll change the pinion and then design a new compound gear then look to get it made in alloy or weld 2 gears together or something.
@@jlrguy2702 I can't recall, and my notes are in need of organization. Aliexpress has metal compound gears it may be possible to design a gearbox around existing products to make it easier. I think that is what I'm going to do when I get back around to the Huracan.
@@AndWeRollinkeep us posted, I did design a speed gearbox but printed gears didn’t work the best. So it’s probably best to keep towards the stock gearbox. I did have a contact within Rastar I could always try contacting them again for parts. I also have a huge amount of second hand cars so have quite a few I could split for spares lol
Hi so i had seen a pagani huayra and Bugatti Veyron in a toy story but i dont no which one to get o and if you want to sell the svj i will be happy to by it
You know what, that's probably the way to go. I tried modeling the exact same gearbox but never really finished it. A compact version might be easier to make and still get the job done.
Well, that was unfortunate to say the least 🤣😭.
Good video by

Hi, I have always wondered what the L to R kinda looking dial does under remote cars. Does anyone know if it has any functionality?

Dropped you a message on FB if you're still interested in a white One 77 or some of my other rare 1/14s .

Yo! Maybe you will design a new enclosure for the gearbox, a much more compact one, maybe. And maaaayybee you will share it with us :D
