Removed the stock motor and replaced it with a 2430 brushless motor. Instead of AAs, it is powered by a 2s LiPo. In most of the Rastar cars I've done this configuration seems to be good for 30mph.
@@AndWeRollin Ah okay thanks. Also, my car just arrived but it has some input delay issues if you know what I mean. When I try and input something on the controller the car has almost half a second of delay. Same thing for forwards and backwards. When i'm going forward, and I need to stop/slow down before a wall, the car takes another half a second to go into reverse while rolling forward. Have any tips? Thanks!
@@canadiantrainperson Assuming your car is still stock, my only recommendation would be to modify it. Honestly, I haven't driven a stock car in a while, so there might be some advice out there that I'm not able to provide. For me, I found the stock input to be lacking. All of the cars I actually take out have been modified, though this can be done at different levels. For example, my i8 still has the stock motor and runs on AAs.

Regarding the lifts I design them myself in SolidWorks based on lifts from BendPak.
