I like that Orihime has found solace in sweets working a job that she likes especially since the bakery's owner is sympathetic and provides her with a safety net. Still the theme of everyone from high ranking nobles to humans and a Quincy providing the work on Rukia's dress is heartwarming and symbolic. Also like how Riruka is a protective friend of Orihime.
Now that I think about rukia always cared about orihime a lot, from asking Ichigo how she was to greeting her at school. I wonder if it's because orihime reminds her of the orphans she grew up with.
Let's be honest Rukia and Orihime friendship was developed better than the Tatsuki friendship

This absolutely HAS to be adapted in the epilogue of the thousand year blood war anime adaptation, right before the 10 year timeskip. It would fill in the gaps of how everyone is doing after the war and give us an actual sense of closure.

The hell verse should not even be a thing. Kubo should have just ended the story after TYBW not develop an unnecessary sequal
@@zemox2534 Aizen was a good villain but looking at him face value, he has no change or growth even after tybw. Also the late introduction of the first gotei 13s. These loose ends are too significant not to tie up.
@@zemox2534 there are a TON of lose ends after TYBW. a lot of stuff makes no sense as of the current ending, and there are some serious issues with bleach's core themes and conflicts being unexplored. I can see 3-4 arcs before bleach finished properly.
@@slashine1071based on how he wrote the rest of bleach, I doubt he could write a truly satisfying conclusion that ties everything together. I truly don't believe that's a feat of writing he's capable of. He's an amazing artist, just not that good of a writer. He's good at creating cool moments, but it's rare that he's able to make a scene more than that. It's like he pretends to be a super subtle and deep writer by putting in all those nonsense poems, tricking the less knowledgeable into thinking hes some god tier author when he's far from it. You see similar stuff in his interviews, there was one where he talks about people who insult(criticise) his work, he basically just says the typical 'if you have time to be critical of a fictional work, get a life' but said in the most pretentious way possible. I really respect his skill as an artist but that's it. The best scene he ever wrote was ichigo and rukias goodbye at the start of fullbring, but he was only able to do that much because he'd already tried and failed earlier on in the series when ichigo left soul society. The people who were tricked in to believing kubo is some master of philosophical writing because of the poems I feel bad for, they just watch a yt vid to tell them the 'hidden meaning' of certain scenes, characters and especially those damn poems. And then they take what they got from a nonsense yt vid and parrot it whenever they can to try and convince ppl bleach is deeper than it actually is. I've had too many interactions with these types, they're stupidity is making me more and more biased against bleach and that sucks, I still wanna have some dumb fun watching it but I'm rlly starting to feel sour towards the series as a whole because of those dumbfucks who can't accept bleach is 90% mindless action or that its okay for them to love a show that is 90% mindless action.
This is one of the most wholesome and heartwarming stories in Bleach. Great to see you cover it!
I found it amusing that Soifon was her usual indifferent self even as Yoruichi was nearby and provided with Rukia's dress. Then again it's just her. Either way everyone else showing unity in their work symbolizes the peaceful unity of this point in the postwar era.

The fact that more members of the Werewolf clan have been accepted into the Gotei and Sajin is remembered as a noble and respected member of the Soul Reapers is another showcase of the new peace and more benevolent era that has been built since the Blood War.
@@jrgenvellesen7800 Yes, Iba essentially raising Sajin's nephews wholesome while Komamura's memory being honored in such a way is heartwarming even if he's living on a mountain while officially declared KIA. Also liked that Yoruichi has befriended Kira and Rose, their discussions on both the truths of the worlds and music no doubt having a therapeutic effect on them.
@@manuelacosta9463 Indeed. Yoruichi bonding with Kira and Rose is another nice scene, especially seeing Kira being more happy in his current state. The fact that Mayuri has also become a much better father to Nemuri Hatchigo and the other Captains playfully teasing him about it, is one of the surprisingly wholesome moments in the novel.

There's an official voice acting of couple lines from the novel I really loved that i hope someday it also gets animated

The scene where it flashes back and forth between Renji and Ichigo saying they swore on their own soul that they'd rescue rukia is one of the best in bleach
This novel this definitely a nice break from the chaos and energy that was the TYBW, and genuinely feels nice letting the characters be able to enjoy themselves. I definitely want this to be animated as a tag along to the TYBW. I also find it funny that despite fighting arrancars, quincies, Aizen, and Yhwach, Ichigo is still too nervous his confess his feelings to Orihime. Even so, it does show that resolve takes many forms.

If I read correctly via internet, in the novel, it was stated that Orihime traveled alone several times to SS to help sewing Rukia's wedding dress. It was even mentioned she traveled at night while in SS. Correct me if wrong.
Aye. Orihime decided to make a veil for Rukia. She travelled alone between the soul society and human world getting friends to embroider their own strawberry flower onto her veil.
It was lush! I really hope it gets animated.
I always knew that they are going to end up together, Rukia and Renji are childhood friends, before she met Ichigo. I don't know why people ship Ichigo and Rukia I get it they have chemistry had more screentime, but com on Rukia is not giving up her life to be with Ichigo and Ichigo has do to die, in order to end up with Rukia.

I actually appreciated Rukia & Ichigo's representation of a purely platonic friendship. It's pretty rare in anime for the two mains not to become OTP. They do love each other, but strictly as care and gratitude for one another.
Im pretty sure alot of the people who DO ship Ichigo and Rukia do it because of the Anime xD and most of that is because of Filler Episodes

I literally find Rukia's relationship with Renji incredible, the two have supported each other since they were little when they lost their friends, and they have always lived together, as each other was always their company. People who ship rukia × ichigo can't see the chemistry between Renji and Rukia, since it was shown that he always liked her, and for me, this couple has incredible chemistry, and ichigo with orihime has another incredible chemistry
I couldn’t agree more on everything you said. I’ve always saw the chemistry on both pairings Rukia x Renji & Ichigo x Orihime. Kubo built them up exceptionally well in my book.

I had Michelle Ruff sign my copy of the novel, she took one look at the cover and was like “oh my goodness that’s so beautiful!” And I asked if she had any clue about the novel and that if she thought if it would get translated? She said if it had anything to do with TYBW arc, then it would. I don’t think she actually knew that information anyways granted any of that decision making would be in Japan first but I figured I’d ask. I hope it gets translated and animated 🤞if not that, then just officially translate the novel at least 😢

I am really hoping the Anime adapts this story!! It is pretty wholesome and Rukia looks stunning in many of the drawings Kubo did for the Light Novel (as she always does).
Tbh, at the beginning of bleach I thought rukia and ichigo would be a couple, but after the introduction of Renji that changed right away. I would like them to animate this with some funny twists and this would be an amazing bleach movie.
I shipped them from the beginning also I thought there’d be a duel between byakuya and Renji to prove he was strong enough to protect her. It takes me back to when he battled Renji the 1st time and told him he’s like a monkey reaching for the moon that he would never reach but now he not only reached the moon he holds it in his arms as that moon is Rukia, the woman he grew up with, survived with and loved from day 1
If that did happen I’d name the chapter DEATH TO SMOOCHY WITH MISS KUCHIKI. 😆

Honestly, once TYBW gets to its 4th part I wouldn't be surprised if they just announced, "The Bleach novels will be getting OVA adaptations", with a confirmed general date (i.e Summer 202X or something similar) literally as the final episode is wrapping up

It’s lush. I hope they do the equivalent for Ichigo and orihime, I know Kubo doesn’t want to focus on romance, but expansion on their relationship would work just as well as WDKALY. Always felt it was one sided with orihime, so Ichigo to struggle to say how he felt all this time. Expansion please. Or just leave it, because appropriate for Ichigo I guess.

Orihime grew up with abusive parents and got saved by her older brother, OF COURSE she would fall in love with Ichigo (an older, caring and protective older brother), even though he was a deliquent. You can see that since first time she appeared in the manga.
😅 I'm not sure delinquent is the word I would use to describe Ichigo. But he definitely is an older brother figure

As nice as it is that we got a novel focusing on Rukia and Renji, I really wish we also got something focused on Ichigo and Orihime. Even though I think pairing Rukia and Renji was a good move, I’m more of a Ichihime fan/supporter and I always wish they had more content. I wanna see more moments between Ichigo and Orihime. Like come on, give the two a movie or OVA at least like Naruto and Hinata got a movie focused on them which turned out great btw :D

Yes. Story development ( if you’re paying attention) Rukia’s relationship with Ichigo was more like brother and sister. It was very obvious that Renji had feelings towards her and always wanted what’s best for her to succeed. But what about Isuzu Kira? He was very dead during the beginning of the Blood war!? I guess I missed that part of the story….

I always expected something like this for RnR
I think the biggest cause of the shipping war was most people (in the west) NOT reading the manga til the final arc.
The anime utterly assinated Orihime's character early on and pushed an Ichigo x Rukia pairing. Its one of the reasons Kubo started getting more hands on with the anime.
A similar reason is also a reason for the extreme deranged hate Sakura gets from Naruto fans outside of Japan. They didn't read the manga and instead just saw the anime overblow Sakura's temperament and physical acts of retribution for comedy.
Really hope this gets animated

Yes Rukia fits better with Renji because Rukia Kuchiki and Renji Abarai have been friends a long time since their childhood, of corse I like Ichigo's and Rukia's friendship too but in my opinion Orihime Inoue fits better and belongs for Ichigo Kurosaki because they're both more "normal humans".
