- Animation is really important! It's how most folks like me got into Marvel and DC in the first place. And lately, only one company is putting any effort into it. In this video I explore why animation matter and could help DC stand out from the shadow of Marvel.

I hope Marvel Invest more in Animation,
I really like all of DC's Current Animated Shows, DC always works Better in Animated Movies and TV shows,
while Marvel works better on their Live Action Films.
I don't know, I want More Marvel Cartoons! Just not Always under the MCU.
Agreed! Not being in the MCU would enable much more creative freedom and let us get differing takes on the same characters!
point of note: you called justice leage a jumping on point but it was litterall a sequal to the batman and superman shows, heck even teen titans and static shock all exited in the same universe, ie the DCEU. so like the MCU they were all connected. I will age modern DC lettintg it spread it wings and doing like multiple things no conneced is great. hell with superman and Lois and My adventures we had 2 different takes on the man of tomarrow, then you have the cameos in harley quin and titan go which are very distinct
That's a fair point about the DCAU shows being connected, but I mostly meant that JLU was still distinct tonally and story wise, and you didn't need to have seen Batman TAS or Superman TAS to enjoy watching it. Meanwhile, a show like What If doesn't have much appeal without already being a fan of the MCU. But, Teen Titans was not in the DCAU like the others you mentioned, so that one was in its own distinct universe. It's a great point about Superman and Lois though, I'm kicking myself for forgetting to mention it!
