This is an amazing story. That you could get that many of your cousins together from all those states is amazing! You should be very proud. I would have loved to see the family tree you made. I remember when we used to go to all kinds of family tree reunions. Now no one gets together. It is sad people don't gather like they use to. Thank you for the story. Randi in South Carolina
Family reunions are going by the wayside. Families are reducing in size and they can now afford vacations of their choosing. They would rather go to the beach than to visit with family.
Not to seem like a rant but I think the "reunions" do get put aside cuz of social media. Most the time folks know everything cuz they so up to date with family right down to knowing what they ate yesterday 😂
You probably know more of your family history than any of us that watch your videos. Thanks for sharing, you have giving me some good ideas about family reunions. I started my husband’s family reunion about 15 years ago and we still have it here in Georgia. Family comes from several states, we have had as many as 58 or 60.
You’re so organized. I remember organizing a National Parents of Twins (Multiples) convention. There were over 1000 people in attendance. It was nerve wracking but I think the nervousness is what kept me on my toes. It was a daunting task but very rewarding! It taught me how to delegate. 🙏❤️🇨🇦
What an exciting video. How you did that with the computer 25 years ago, wow! Pat I am figuring out you have been extraordinary your entire life. Mad love ❤️Laura from Las Vegas
Love your glasses and necklace, they look beautiful together❤. Thank you for sharing this story with us, I so enjoy each and everyone of them. With our family now spread out across the country we haven’t had a family reunion in a long while. I’m the one in our family who has done the genealogy and it makes me sad that families used to be so close, cousins like siblings and now they barely know each other. Debby from NY
I absolutely love family history and would so much like to do research on my different sides, however, for many reasons, my family has several fractures and really no way of tracing information because so many secrets and facts were taken to the grave. Thank you for this very interesting video on a very cold and snowy Saturday in WV. Take care.
One of my hobbies is genealogy/researching my family history. Some people don’t understand how important it is! Hope you have a good weekend:) Cindy In Illinois.
Pat, I remember family reunions in Ohio. They were held in parks to accommodate the large numbers. They were pot luck events. I can still hear, “Now, who’s boy are you?” Or “You’re Eva’s boy, aren’t you?” My cousins were amazed when they found out that we actually wore shoes in Kentucky. I was surprised to find out that ‘Pop’ wasn’t a person, but a soft drink. This was my Mother’s family, kind and civil. My Father’s family never held a reunion. They were of fiery Scottish decent, hardheaded, opinionated, and used language not acceptable in mixed company. They called us ‘brats’ that needed to be placed in Military school at Millersburg. Thanks for the memories.
Good evening Granny Pat, you know it’s a shame no one does family reunions anymore. When my grandparents were around we had them all the time but once they were gone they slowly dwindled down. Since all my aunts/uncles are gone there are none, my mother had 12 siblings so we had/have lots of cousins. Love your pink glasses and they match your jewelry perfectly.❤
My dad’s family came from Wales. My mother’s family came from Germany. I like the word “stock” that you mentioned! Both sides of my family insist they are from very good stock! And they are! ❣️
Hi Granny Pat. Once again, you look pretty for this video. Your glasses add a touch of class. I was not surprised to hear of your reunion and the success due to your expertise in planning it all. You are a level above most everyone because of your many talents that you do so well. You enjoy your life and it comes out in your stories with no effort. We all need to follow in your footsteps. Hugs. Nancy from IN.❤
I love your stories. I love how you kept notes about everything . I wish I knew about my family.thank you for sharing. & I have to agree you look so lovely in your outfit. ❤
I took a DNA test in 2019 and my family tree changed a lot 😮 I got lucky with a newly discovered 3rd cousin who is a professional genealogist with the New England geological Society (our great grandfathers were brothers). He helped me unravel a lot of the mysteries in my DNA results.
Hi Pat! Wow it amazes me how organized you are. The way you can pull together a huge event. I think you can do anything you put your mind to. What a mentor you are to everyone. You look incredible in that color blue. Love you! Shirley from PA
Great episode and you look lovely! I love rooting around in Ancestry matters! I took it as far as to moving across country to my ancestors roots! I live not too far North or South to where my people owned 100s of acres of land. I look to explore more when the ground is less soggy. I can’t wait to see their graves in person. I’m hoping to explore their old land, with permission of course!
I love this video! I am currently doing genealogy on my father's family. And I've found several of them were in the civil war and what happened to them. It is so interesting! I can spend hours researching. Sometimes you find things that happened to your ancestors and you have to find out how it ended. Hope you can occasionally talk about any other genealogy of your family that you have found. Lynn in AZ
Be very careful about researching ancestors with the same name but different generations. You can find yourself going down the wrong path. That has happened in my line. No matter how many times I correct people, they don’t make the changes. Just make sure you note these things.
Hi Granny Pat! Just found you not too long ago. You remind me so much of my Granny who went to be with Jesus 10 years ago. I recently watched your video on names. We are expecting our 2nd child in early May, a little girl! We love the name Annabelle and would love to know if you know anyone from long ago or now and thoughts on it! Love your videos! And my favourites are you showing your items you wore in decades come and gone! Thank you for all you do ❤
I still think my mother had the prettiest name of all - Mollie Elizabeth. Also, I would probably go with Pollyanna. Always loved that name, very old-fashioned.
First off, I've got to exclaim how wonderful your new pink eyeglasses look with your pink necklace!!!! ❤❤❤❤
Your outfit is as beautiful as your soul. Thank you for filling my Saturday with joy. Hugs❤

What is your line of descent? (Rowlett/Carmack/Yeary/Campbell)
@@chitchatwithgrannypat7900 Campbell. Family search says that Miss Patricia & I are 11th cousins once removed. This is in my paternal side.
