If you like P-90 tones, I recommend Bacchus. I love P-90 tones but it is a little bit different from traditional telecaster tone.

Hey let me help tp answer your question, I own a Bacchus BTE-RSM 2 and i have tried a squier affinity telecaster, if you ask me about which one is more worth it I'd say Bacchus, the plus point from the guitar is, it's roasted maple it felt nice in my hand, I really enjoy playing on roasted maple neck and for that price it's a excellent deal, 2nd it's 22 frets unlike the squier that has 21 frets, 3rd the p90 pickup is so goooddd, just add a bit of reverb it sounds warm and soothing, it's just perfect. Anyway if you are buying the telecaster for the original tone you should get a squier but bacchus did a great job the bridge pickup is not that bad and still nail the telecaster tone, try both of them first and tell which one suit on your hand more, which one sounds better in your ears. Good luck on finding your guitar mate!!!

In my current system (yamaha thr amplifier / irig micro amp and stomp boxes are battery powered), there is not so much noise with any guitar including this one. I rarely care about noise in my house recently to be honest.
