240sx is usually my go to drag car for career, i swap classes on the civic and 240sx right at the beginning and use both for the majority of the game, tho the civic does tend to have trouble pretty quickly on
@@JayK20 yeah shifting slows down your slightly, instead hit the nitro and over rev the engine, you will cross the finish line before the engine blows up. Of course, this is only possible for 1/4 mile races.
And the Skyline GT-R BNR34, we’ll actually this is normal why Skyline can do burnout while the car was AWD. It’s because Skyline GT-R have special system and that is ATTESSA System, it’s use for change drivetrain from AWD to RWD
It seems slow for 1120 hp i suggest you to make gears shorter (1st +10, 2nd +6, 3rd +2, 4th -3, 5th -6, 6th -10), anyway it is very stable, i don't know if my 1193 hp Porsche 911 GT2RS ratios are good for your Impreza but something like this is quicker but it's harder to shift in a good zone (i shift in green and it says MISSED SHIFT😂 because wheel are spinning)
I also recorded this before I played with the clutch on and before I really understood how to properly tune cars, so the whole thing is really a mess lol 😆
I'm probably not the greatest dude to ask cuz I'm not very fast at all compared to some ppl out there but me I just always try to go for max grip at the tire heating stages and then just try to shift at the perfect points it's really as simple as that lol, I've found that in certain cars and on certain setups it's actually slower to even shift into 6th than just redlining 5th, and I've also heard that playing with clutch and doing some weird shifting techniques can get you much faster times but I've never done either of those myself I just play normally for the most part
@@JayK20 Ok, thanks for the advice. I can shift ok but my car seems very slow even though it's upgraded. I think my problem might be that I'm using the Cobalt SS for drag.
@@atrio1136 yeah i don't really like the Cobalt, personally I usually use an S13 for drag because it's super light and RWD, and a lot of it also comes down to how the car is tuned and what setup you're running so as a beginner i'd say just look up good setups and tunes for specific cars and just kinda learn your way from there
Try a 240sx. I used to use that all the time

@@JayK20 i do the exakt same but go up on the career path to win a 350z for grip
use clutch is recommend (it help to hit even under 7 second
Hey, you better using Manual gearbox with clutch 2 Times faster than usual, especially when you driving AWD and FWD
Subaru is awesome in grip. Not so in drag. Drag is just ok
*ahem* Hold my keys.
*Later*
6.61
Try to set low rpm in turbo settings.
Usa la transmisión con clutch, con eso te evitas las esperas al pasar un cambio
Dont shift at gear 5, it will save some time
huh
never knew that

yes i love doing a RWD burnout in an AWD car, lots of logic there
the same with ryos damn evo
If you wonder why Evo X Ryo Watanabe can use for Drag and Drift is because the file use from 350Z

4:30 Supra 800+ HP > Subaru 1200hp+
Supra is best Drag hahahhaha
it isnt even the best jdm because the 350z exists
On PS2 I have a sub 7 Impreza with 1121hp
Stage 3 c6 with no tune can run high 7s with ease
c6 can run high 5s. with the right tune you start in the 2nd gear, then from 2nd shift into 6th and blast the nitros
Try shorting the gears except for the last one.
Could this also be a grip build?
just test, if work tell me 😅
Tried it, this thing can definitely be a grip build. Basically the Subaru is a cheaper 911 Turbo.
try using manual + clutch. I'm almost sure you'll get out of 7 secs
I second this. Got this game in 07 and just yesterday found out about the clutch setting. Change ya world 🙌
You should really use clutch bro i got 6.3 seconds on my impreza with it

my corvete c6 with 851 hp can do less than 8 sec
I cant do on this drag at all, always end up fifth if i'm lucky. Do you have any tips to help please?

start in fourth gear with nos and and make final drive shorter
thank me later
use the fricking clutch
240sx😂 stage 4 everything. 6.8 sec 1/4 mile with right tune and also less than 11 sec 1/2 mile (will wheelie it)
Ye same. I used Coopers 240sx for every race type bc it just works. Lmao
how to get 4 level tune?
@@Zebralls is there any other way to get stage 4 part in this updated version besides collecting reward card from the race?
