One of the best explanations of "under the law" I have ever heard over my past 60 years, as a Christian. Many, many thanks to Jesus for working through you.
It’s lawful to do good on the Sabbath. Mark 3:1-5 “And he entered again into the synagogue; and there was a man there which had a withered hand. 2 And they watched him, whether he would heal him on the sabbath day; that they might accuse him. 3 And he saith unto the man which had the withered hand, Stand forth. 4 And he saith unto them, Is it lawful to do good on the sabbath days, or to do evil? to save life, or to kill? But they held their peace. 5 And when he had looked round about on them with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts, he saith unto the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it out: and his hand was restored whole as the other.”
If you are under grace only why should you ask for forgiveness? What makes you perceive the sin?? The law. All the systems exists because they are governed by laws, otherwise there will be chaos.
Easy question Under the law means guilty before God Romans 3:19 and I haven't yet seen the sermon. And as a bonus under Grace means under the direction of the Holy Spirit and the Spirit of Grace will never lead you.contrary to the Law of God in fact under Grace it is impossible to sin(1john 3:6-9)
23 "And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be grafted in: for God is able to graft them in again." So they are not the root, the root is God! God may graft them again IF they turn to God like any other human as they are not a special species!!
See Leviticus 11-All flying insects that walk on all fours are to be detestable to you. There are, however, some winged creatures that walk on all fours that you may eat: those that have jointed legs for hopping on the ground.
