I actually cut that part out of my video but it makes me sooo sad to see others not having the opportunity to have someone to talk too. This stuff is expensive, it feels unfair especially when you need it. I hope you can find someone even within your family to open up to
Thanks Natalie so true it's a privilege not everyone gets, but it's so important to talk to someone that you trust and to get your feelings out instead of keeping it bottled in. ( Learned this the hard way).
One thing i have learned from having ADHD is that not everything works the same as someone without ADHD. most ppl with ADHD cant keep a routine (myself included) so how I get crap done is by having a very loose idea of what to do that day. having what u want to get done more loose can take the stress levels down. also make sure that everything works for you in that routine. for example, if you write a huge bedtime routine and you realize that putting times doest work for you, put it as 'get to be before __' or 'get to bed early' not 'get to bed at ___" because that puts a lot of stress on yourself. sorry for this long rant about nothing but I hope this helps :)
This is so helpful thank you so much. It’s crazy I’ve done it ALL. Sometimes time blocking seems to help and sometimes it seems to overwhelm. I’ll have to take it step by step, thank you
this is so true - one thing ive learned about my self (among the MANY MANY MANY things ive learned) is that routines and exact times stress me out so much. it’s why im so often either way too early or way too late, i can’t give myself an accurate time limit, i spend more time trying to plan out my time than doing the shit i need to do then my time disappears. adhd is so difficult to navigate and even with medication there’s so much pressure on me to get my shit together so it’s so comforting to see others struggle in the same aspects i struggle in. most people i hear talking about adhd now is “yeah I can’t focus so I need to do this, oh sorry I got distracted, oh I’m all over the place” and while this is all true to adhd, that’s the side of it people laugh about (myself included) but it really is SO difficult and can cause so much anxiety. listening to others with adhd try to explain things in ways that don’t make sense to neurotypical brains is so great for me because half the time it actually doesn’t make sense “technically” but it feels like someone’s finally speaking my language
Although I don’t have ADHD I’ve experienced the things you spoke about. Here’s how I’ve overcome the battle of my mind. James 4:7 resist the devil and he WILL flee in Jesus name. 2 Timothy 1:7 God has given us a spirit of love power and a sound mind. Meditate on those verse and see what they mean for you. ❤️
