You could see the wind was getting under the front of your car at the end there, coming back from right to left. You almost need a wing on the front to keep it down!! Both cars look great. 👍🏻

Lol yeah it was a tad windy and didn’t think about that to be honest. Might do better on a calm day . Plus you lose around 10 mph on gras so it would be pushing 70 mph. Not to sad.

So the fastest run was with 1650kv. Right?
My first xmaxx 6s with 1600SL with traxxas power upgrade (8s esc and center dif) was much faster than the secund xmaxx i buy stock 8s that come with 1100kv motor.
I was thinking on buying the max6 1650kv to put on the new 8s car.

Yes the fastest run was with the 1650. It’s very common that guys put the 6s xmaxx motor in there 8s trucks as it faster than the 1200 kv that comes with the 8s truck. I’ll be honest I’m thinking of putting the 1100kv motor in mine now with the max6 esc still because the 1650 is just crazy lol it’s loads of fun but I want to tame it down a bit for bashing.

@@bradjrc196 im really liking the 1650. You had any issues with heating or anything running 8s on 1650v?

I was , I’ve now put the standard motor back in and taken the 1650 out as it’s to lively for what I want to do with it.

@@bradjrc196 i have a hard time believing that with a 1650.. 26/46 should get you like 140+mpg if you calculate with max rpm at 29.6v the total gear ratio (primary gear ratio + secondary reduction + diff ratio + tire circumference ) and thats without considering the massive overheating issue youd have..
unless you on 4s or something
