@JBOutboards glad to have you aboard the ship. I am a into all american made motors of the past. Bigger and faster era so stay tuned for some very cool stuff. I will mention your channel when I show off a fun build with twin 75hp Johnsons. You will love that one.
These engines had a lot of power. I remember these push button shift controls. They worked well and made it fun to dock. For whatever reason Johnson used their own single level controls, no buttons.
@cheftomsd docking was easy and I have Johnsons of that era with single lever controls. The real power monsters were mercs and will feature them and mcculloch motors too. New videos coming soon.
@@Steve-wz5pz yes they are original. Very hard to find if you break one. I have made the logo before but need to make a new mold if I do another run. Getting a windshield made can be done if you make a mold. I will be making one for my other 63. I have the old broken windshield to make one from. I have a special glue to repair the old windshield to do that.
@@Blitzkrieg.u812 not the old ones there bullet proof I have several. The manual shift went through gears and shift dogs all the time. Replaced tons of them. Never had a old style electric shift fail. Newer omc stuff is junk. 68 and newer.
What an awesome sound! Beautiful setup too!

Are the windshield and Crestliner logos original? If not, where did you source them?
