IMPORTANT NOTICE: Please ALWAYS use resin with proper precautions including wearing proper PPEs (glove, mask, respirator etc) AND working in a well ventilated space. I recommend getting a hold of the SDS (Safety Data Sheet) info that every resin company has available to the public (by law). This has all the info about the resin you are using including the precautions you need to take and first aid care. Watch my resin safety video for more info: • RESIN SAFETY | Importa...

Why do I use two different types of resin in my projects?
I use a casting resin to cast and a doming resin for doming.
Casting resin is usually low in viscosity and works very well in molds without much issue with the bubbles. Also the low viscosity will allow the resin to reach detailed area of the mold. Doming resin is thick in viscosity and holds its shape very nicely. It creates a full dome and tends to hold the surface tension much better than low viscosity resin. So lower risk of the resin dripping off the sides. It also gives the piece a smooth, flawless finish.

This was a nice video! So many questions and remarks I had whilst watching :-) If I were to make this, I'd definitely try a deep sea theme w/ the dragons as sea monsters instead. Would help ease some concerns esp. regarding the bubbles.

Oh yea for sure! Deep sea theme would be perfect for this. I just felt the need to use the clouds to showcase this subscription box 😣

Thank you! Use a heat gun with uv resin before pouring it into a mold and let the resin rest for few minutes before curing

Aww, you're being way too hard on yourself. it came out really cool! I really love it. But I can't judge, cause I totally do the same thing to every project I make. everyone else sees how cool it is, and all I see is the tiny flaws. It must just be a part of a meticulous nature that goes along with the average crafter. Anyway, considering you were winging it, I think you really did that project justice. Thank you for sharing.

    Thanks for showing us mistakes.
I have a question: how to correctly utilize failed results? Is it possible to somehow reuse materials? Or it just goes into trash can?

It really depends on the mistakes. Some mistakes can be remedied while other's can't.
