couple of tips: 1) try pushing down on the breaker bar instead of pulling up to loosen it, it will save your back 2) when putting the lug nuts back on, never start the lug nuts with an impact, instead use your fingers to make sure they are threaded on properly before using the impact driver or you risk cross threading your lug nuts and you'll need to get them replaced
I’m suitably impressed that all four wheels fit into the Model Y. I doubt I could do that in my Model 3. Any issues with the tyre pressure indicators after changing wheels?
Tyre pressure I didn't have to deal with as I marked each tyre when I put them in storage. I believe if we were to do any rotations... We would have to go to service menu and reset tpms. Thanks for the comment as always Anthony!
Great question! No one would carry all these tools as there is no spare tire anyways. That being said, majority of punctures are usually slow leaks. I always carry a portable tire pump and its more than enough to get you home as long as you leave the debree in until you get home. I've had the car 4 years now and flat tires thus far (knock on wood*)
Ya i just realized when you have 2 sets of rims you really dont need to use. If you are looking to use simply jack the rear side up high enough so the jack stand can fit in the front of the car and repeat on the other side. Hope this helps
Wow , it's already snowing in Alberta, 15'c here in Toronto. By the way, do you know how to keep the car unlock even the door is closed and no body there ?
@@yesmanhk for me... the car is always (90% of the time) unlocked when im roughly 8 feet from the car and stay unlocked until i leave. If that doesn't work, you could unlock with your card and it should stay unlocked more consistently. Let me know if that works. Not sure if I'm understanding your issue correctly :P
Thanks for all the info. I Live in Calgary and expecting to receive Myp in March end. Do you know what kinda tires does it come with? I have read somewhere that it comes with all season and they are somewhat ok on the snow. Thanks for your time
They come with Goodyear Eagle Touring tires (All Season). I think you can get by with the all season but winters do make a huge difference. tmps warning doesnt go away if you don thave it installed in your tires. This is perfectly normal. You just have to check the tires manually if you want to save the extra $500. Hope this helps!
@@TeslaHo I had my tires changed and the warning came on about 15 minutes after the service center changed them. A lot of people are telling me the sensor(s) probably went bad but I find that very odd to happen so soon after the tire change

Ya I have a bad posture due to all the vball I play haha
Oops commented on wrong account lol
Only forgot to show one thing. How does Tesla know or learn which tire is where? For the tire pressure sensor system.
Oh shoot that's a good point... May do a follow up vid
The Bluetooth TPMS sensors will re-sense the correct tire configuration after a drive or so. Automatic!
Well that solves that mystery. Thank you both.

21mm socket and breaker bar shouldnt matter but I used a 24inch breaker. Cheers

Hi
After changing the tires, do I need to do anything on the setting?
only if you changed to different rim sizes. Its a good habit to go change it in the settings so you can track when you are on winter or summers.
