These are real fans, I have so much respect for Atletico. You can hear the passion in these people's voices!
💯💯
except when they attacked one of real madrids buses
Christian Orddonez wouldn't exactly be fair to say that applies to every Atletico fan, every clubs fan base has idiots
Jackkk 123 arsenals blud army
Jackkk 123 thanks 100 true
I am so glad that their is a tribute to the Vicente Calderon in English. This is no longer a team that is only known in Madrid, Spain. This is now an international team that everyone knows about. I personally wish they built a new stadium in the same location, but what is done is done.
Ur just a fucking plastic go watch ‘soccer’
Carlos Muñoz
What the fuck are you talking about
No this is a team based in Spain, best way would be to just add subs for non-Spanish speakers
This team was known internationally for a long time
Yes Atleti has a really great fan base. Not that big like barca or real. But Atleti has got an international fanbase from Asia to South America as well
I am a strong Atletico Madrid fan and this stadium is so emotional
Ben Jr Owiriwa have you ever been to Madrid? No. stop glory hunting and support you're local team. Probably a Manchester City fan but like Manchester United as well
You don't have to have been to Madrid to be an Atleti fan.
No but what's wrong with you're local team
...Atletico is not generally a club people bandwagon.
The Glesga ned everyone has the right to support whatever he likes.....
I went to a game in the Calderon two years ago with friends, against Almeria. One of the most beautiful stadiums I've ever been to. And the Atletico supporters were really friendly and made us feel welcome. So sad that this is the end for the stadium.
Saludos desde Holanda!
Saludos hermano
As A Madridista...
I would like to congratulate Atletico for their new stadium and wish them luck for the future seasons :)
We need more people like you. Respect!
Sí muy bien👍👍
Never wish your rivals good luck.......
Well well.,.
What West Ham taught us is that if you move stadium make sure your fans and the team feel like its a new home
abdullah hussian true, same as why arsenal's stadium now is shit yet highbury was a great stadium. The only thing to make it feel like home is that clock from the old highbury clockend
Englands two most successful clubs haven't moved stadiums yet even tho both are playing relatively shit compared to how they used to play so I don't see why these clubs like West Ham move stadium for success. They should build up their history and create success.
@RAVEN AK47 West Ham , a big club ? Next joke , please . When was the last time you won something ? 😂 The FA Cup in 1980 ... 4 major trophies in your history , is not really that much , to be considered a big club .
@RAVEN AK47 Hmm , Real wins a title almost every year , West Ham won their last title , like 40 years ago . Maybe you were an important club in the '70-80 , but that's about it . A team from my country , Astra Giurgiu beat West Ham twice ...
To me, big club means how much you spend. Being in a huge major city helps too.
That ground deserves UCL... #GRACIAS CALDERON
Total respect to your club you gave us Torres at Liverpool F C, you are a club with the same as us hard working backgrounds,
You live you feel the history of your club , you can take your so called big clubs like Real and Barca but they are bought by big investors just like in our league .
But like you we want to win and every game is a cup final .You need to move on and keep winning and break the existance that the others have , my Grandmother was from Madrid and like her im a big fan, unless we ever meet .
Long live LIVERPOOL LONG LIVE ATLETICO MADRID.
Barcelona or Madrid dont have big investors...
Best team of the world. Forza Atleti!
Forza West ham!
Aúpa Atleti, joder!!
José Luis Alonso Forza Atletico
José Luis Alonso Worst*
Isnt it Italian to say forza?
When teams get new stadiums, it's like every game is an away game
Love Atletico Madrid FC ,Hello from New Zealand
Aúpa Atleti ♥️💪♥️
I'm a Real Madrid fan from Malaysia and I had a chance to visit this stadium when I was in Madrid 3 years ago just before the UCL finals in Lisbon. Sat at the stadium pub and had a few beers. It is a truly a stadium in a neighborhood of working class people. Sad to know that the next time I visit Madrid the stadium won't be there anymore.
I maybe late but I'm a Malaysian Atletico fan since the days of Forlan and Aguero. It's my dream to go to the Caldèron. To me, it's one of the best places to watch football. It's weird that I never went there, but I'll miss the Caldèron
I am a Barç fan and I had the privilege of attending a great game in Estadio Vicente Calderón in Copa del Rey (FCB 3-2 ATM). I remember that glorious night, the whole.neighborhood around the stadium was filled with Rojiblanca supporters. The chants echoed between the alleys of Madrid. Then, the first moment when I entered the stadium, I fell in love with it. The ultras are one of the best in Spain and Europe. Although I support Barça, in that particular match, I cheered for Atletis goals.
I shed a tear when I heard the news about the new stadium. It's gonna be away from that amazing neighborhood. That legendary atmosphere of El calderon could be lost forever. 💔
Saludos desde Mascate, Oman.
thanks calderon you always be our heart of atletico fan
I stay in india but live for atleti ...........madrid is a dream.....
Gracias caldero 1966-2017 the memories will forever be remembered
I love atletico , love from turkey
History is what makes a stadium, nothing can replace a first home, a new stadium could be the best, most up to date in the world and players and fans would still always miss the charm of the older ground, hate how football is just becoming one huge business
many of these new stadiums are simply soulless, Isolated shells on motorways or near industrial units. No character, no community. In short they are fcuking horrible despite the hype surrounding some of them.
As a barca fan My second most favourite stadium ever after camp nou is vicente calderon, I love this stadium ❤️
RESPECT from Jakarta, Indonesia
Broke my heart 💔
As a Barca fan, I will always associate this stadium with doggedness and toughness. I will cherish the memories whenever Barca played against Atletico there, in particular in recent years many important matches have been played there. Even against other teams, the Calderon can bring out the brutality of all teams. I remember vividly last year against Sevilla in CDR final, Barca had to work on all cylinders, played with unusual tactics and go into extra time just to win. Just shows how the Calderon can impact teams
Great video man!!! As an atlético fan I can only say: Bravo! You have grasped what it means and what it feels to be an atlético fan, and the attachment we have to our Calderón. The new stadium will be great, but we will always remember our calderón.
Wow another great video after the Terry one. Can you pls make a video about VfB Stuttgart. They got back to the first Bundesliga and have 50.000 Fans per game
Neyanso exactly like Newcastle
jsdnnasfjs knxczjcnzn mn Maybe a combined Video with both teams :D
Neyanso @copa90 get on it
As a real madrid fan here(going through terrible time right now). This video surprised me and caught me the feels. This stadium has had wild experiences, will be missed extremely. Even the craziness of the champions league matches here also. Never be forgotten this stadium
Had the pleasure of touring the Calderon prior to the 16/17 season. You can tell it is a real working class area, very passionate people. Excited to go back to Madrid for a third time in August to see the new home of Atleti.
Last time I was this early Manchester United was a good team
Cappah 😱
aids is pretty funny. Team America.
Sacha V Last time I was this early Liverpool won the premier league, oh wait...
NeedyChris Lol nice one 😂
Sacha V dude yt didn't exist then
This vid got me proper emotional lol Great stadium that def will be missed
Oh look, they didn't have to invade the pitch...
The PC Enthusiast invasions are awesome.
Pedro Mateus unless it's Millwall fans
Exactly, fans that run on the pitch are what is wrong with football, no one likes it, even they're own players.
The PC Enthusiast and yet no one at WHL was hurt or attacked. Same goes for pretty much all end of season invasions. It's just an outpouring of emotion, not sure why that'd offend you.
+4exgold Hannover fans tore up Sandhausen's pitch on Sunday after invading to celebrate promotion to Bundesliga...
Gracias por todo, Calderón
Couldn't imagine saying goodbye to the Nou Camp❤️
that day has come my friend
El Calderón will always be remembered. Such a great atmosphere.
Saludos de un valencianista.
As a Spurs fan I can relate to this. Was there on the last game at white hart lane and the atmosphere was nothing like I've ever seen before.
TheT0ttenham lol the atmosphere was shiit like all english stadiums you can't compare it to calderon's atmosphere
trolling 4 living When your name says that you're a troll no one is going to take you seriously
This video is really giving me the feels!😭💓
Calderon was home Athletico madrid like no other future home gonna be. I would say they should never have changed their home stadium, they should have upgraded it. Even I am feeling sad about hearing this news after 3 years, I didn't knew it was changed, sad thing.
It still breaks my heart that they left that wonderful stadium. As soon as I moved to Madrid I was enamoured with Atleti and the Calderon and I went to as many games as I could afford. I've been to the Wanda and to be honest it's amazing but in a different way. I hope Atleti don't turn into a tourist team.
I didn't know they're moving across the city.. That's dramatic. They could've just modernised the stadium.
The problem is that the club can not make big changes to the stadium. At the front we have Manzanares river, below a motorway (M30) and at the sides, streets and buildings which can´t be removed. 3 roads have to be closed in a match day becouse the people that goes to the stadium. The bus lines and the underground system are really far from the stadium and it has no parking for the spectators. They have space for nothing :/
It was already a four star stadium. The highest rank the UEFA has.
I was there yesterday and it was one of the best and worst moments of my life. I have been a die hard Atleti fan since I was born and for 21 years, since I first entered when I was 1 year old, the Calderón has been my second home. It's going to be really weird to go across Madrid to watch the games.
#EternoCalderón
Can really relate to these fans. Same feeling with Upton Park
Went 1997 with Leicester City. . Ian Marshall Scored fa us . We was watching in the sky's right at the Top.
when they will see the first game in the new stadium they will love it. they will never forget the Calderon but a new stadium was necessary. football is changing . Juventus stadium has been a fortress for us. I have no doubt the atletico fans will make it home very quickly! great club ...great fans. so much louder than real and barca supporters.
It's all about passion Respect to those passionate fans of atleti cause of this people football is not only for money it's about passion
*forza* *atleti*
Its sad they built new stadium on another place, this place seems as really cool place
Tanta paz lleve como calma deja.
Man this hurts
Vicente Magic Calderón....😢😢
Touching!
💔💔💔😍😍we miss you vecente Calderon 😔😔😣😣💞💞😩😫😖❤💞Aupa Atléti, my home I wish visit you but now you r destroyed
Aúpa Atleti ♥️💪♥️
This made me tear up man 😢 and I'm a Real Madrid fan
Iam so glad that we dont loose our Volksparkstadion i would be gutted
Hasta protno vincente calderon, se te recordara, no pude visitarlo a tiempo :(
Good move for Atleti. A bigher stadium will increase profits and allow them to keep talent and be more ambitious.
this stadium weather is overwhelming and frightening to other teams recently atletico became an elite force in europe i hope they continue that with their new stadium
Love you athletico you have given me hope lately that there is going to be a different team besides Barcelona and Real Madrid who will win the league
Was an amazing stadium
ETERNO VICENTE CALDERÓN
such a nice stadium.
As a madridista i respect them
forcaAtleti💙
Fast af boiii
PremiumHd 99 yeh boii
Holy Shit that was beautiful.
The thumbnail bought me here tbh
Saw a game there against Barcelona several years back, bought four tickets day of only to get to the seats and realize one of them didn't even exist, kind of funny actually. Was an amazing experience (helped being in the Barca section as they won 2-1 on a Messi freekick goal), and it's tough to imagine them retaining that if they move clear across the city as it sounds like.
ETERNO CALDERÓN there's not going to be any stadium like that
People crying so much for football but when we need people to invest the same time to find solution to the world problems ,there is nobody.
Same feelings for old Beşiktaş stadium İnönü...
Wanda metropolitan ✈ I love that name
Raheem McLean icardi and maxi Lopez love that
I didn't even know they were moving stadium! So sad these traditional grounds being stripped away to move into soulless bowls
Not trying to be a smart ass. But it's Vicente Calderón.
You sir, are a smartass.
Apologies.
Yeh sex is cool but have you ever had garlic bread?
Burko sex is better
I'm eating one right now.
Nathan Leak i heard thats a major turn off
Burko have had sex on a garlic bread
Whys everyone making a big thing about white Hart lane, when they are not even leaving for good.
Harry Stocker yes they are
+Michael Armstrong Tottenham's new stadium will be on the same ground, so they aren't really moving anywhere. Which is a good thing for them
Michael Armstrong no they are not...they just leave for a year for stadium rebuild
izzat irfan yeah but it's still a new stadium lol
They're completely tearing down the current stadium and building a new one from the ground up. Just because it's in the same place doesn't mean it's still the same stadium.
Date Atletico Madrid fans they are loyal ❤️ #atleticomadrid
When Arsenal moved the blow was softened because it was only 5 mins walk away and the old facades were kept. My partner's family are Atletti fans and from their flat could walk to the old ground; so obviously they are sad to see the old ground go.
no reason to be sad. the club must grow. some stadiums just cannot be upgrade or expanded. a new stadium is the best option
Hala madrid!
Hopefully they don't pull another West Ham.
Chelsea fan here, wishing Athletico Madrid and Spurs all the best playing at their new stadiums. IK spurs won't move to the new lane until next year, but you know what i mean.
Lew Jia Shen it's Atlético NOT AtHletico
I’m gonna have those same feeling when Everton fc leave Goodison Park
no atletico including me is happy moving away from the Calderon
aupa atleti
orguillo Antimadridista💪
What's the music used in the background ?
This was on CNN good shit
Where are they moving and why?
You see Atlético chairman Cerezo and Gil (the last president's son) made a pact with the previous mayor to give away the terrains just because the local government wanted to properly underground the M-30 road. In exchange the city hall would exchange the Peineta stadium, built for athletism events, and its surroundings. The fanbase was not consulted, and the agreement was signed back in 2008. I have my doubts the exchange was profitable, because expenses have raised above expected, but the new stadium is marvellous, +15000 capacity and all the commodities, parking lot, etc. Still I wouldn't have moved, but it's time to move on. What I don't really like is the new badge, looks like captain america's shield.
Which is there new ground ??? I dnt know anything about this can anyone plz reply about all this ????
So where are they moving to?
this will have a negative impact on Atletico the soul will be lost forever.
Ey is Manchester moving
Same thing w tottenham And white hart lane
Accept changes..!
Do they have a new stadium
Agora sei achava que eles amam o Wanda mais eles odeiam
hope it wont end being West Ham 2.0
As an intense follower of football, especially the English Premier League and La Liga, it's equally emotional for me. Love the passion!! Someday I want to visit the Old Trafford and Camp Nou!
This like Tottenham move to Wembley stadium for 3 years if Tottenham. can do it and be Strong. Atletico Madrid can do it and be Strong.
Imagine Tottenham fans crying because they're leaving Shite hart lane 😂
So you have a guy from USA, wearing an Argentina jersey, Athleti scarf, in Spain talking about Athletico Madrid. What a fake fan and not to mention disrespectful as well! No true Spanish fan would be in a Argentina jersey
change stadiums or not you will won't achieve what realmadrid achieved. long life RMA
a bit late
