Still on cloud nine three years after this. When I was a student-athlete at Loyola-Chicago 20 years ago, our basketball team was unknown even to people living in Chicago. The thought of our team going against powerhouses like Michigan and Tennessee was inconceivable. We struggled against teams like Illinois-Chicago and Cleveland State.
I was hangin' out with a motley crew of Loyola Alumni for the Tennessee game, I literally hit the floor crying with the Tennessee win (I'm an Alumnus ;-)
