- Today we talk about one of the most common ways customers get decieved by pet shippers, and explain how people can avoid THOUSANDS of dollars in unnecessary fees.

I tried to ship 4 small animals (3 reptiles 1 cockatiel, all under 100 grams) and got quoted $15000. My jaw dropped when I received the quote. Your video is really helpful.

This gentleman knows exactly the meaning of family. Not a show, not for profit, not for business but for families. Is there any other reasons? How many families can be saved and have a more trustworthy travel? This is very interesting topic we all shoul have an input in as far as pet owners and traveling. Are we ready and are we there yet should be the only questions we should be asking in the future. The more we ask about it the better our future for our family and members. More job opportunities and better service.

The exact same problem with most dog breeders. I know depending on location and state a veterinarian is in, may vary vet bills. But most vet bills range from $200-$800. Not way over $1000. So, those breeders who sell one puppy for well over $10000 is a SCAMMER. They claim oh that cover their female's vet bill and litter's vet bills. But doing my research, most of that cost no more than $500. Including, puppy shots, and cropping of ears and tails for certain breeds.
The scammers even become hostile and force yo to deal with it, when you try to negotiate for an honest and practical price. SO, now I adopt pets for free and the shippers will have to deal with billing with my dog program.

Hey man! Essentially I met someone on Facebook that said they had a dog that needed a new home. Long story short I don't think there's a dog even involved and the courier company keeps asking for more and more money

Dear Leo! Thank you for your video! I am sending my cat from Barcelona to Miami via cargo company in Spain. They have calculated 840 euros and did not try to charge me anything suspicious. However they have commented that they can include a fee for customs broker for 550$ or I can look for broker myself. They said it is obligatory for all pets entering US since 2021 and the price is always around 500$. Is it true? What happens if I don’t pay it and just arrive to the airport with my pet? will they charge me there?
I hope all shippers have the same ethics as your company!

@@lukabarba2716 I looked up a company that was highly recommended that shipped animals in my area and got the quote myself. I sent the quote and the name of the company to the person and I offered to pay for it. It was actually only about 200$. And the shipping company made sure the puppy was in good health for shipping.
Can you help me research buying a pet legally from South Africa. The breed is totally legal to own in the USA, but USA breeders charge $20,000 and S. African breeders charge $1,500 - because the breed is native and non-threatened. It makes perfect common sense that it would be cheaper for me to fly over there and buy the cat (Serval) and bring it back with me but I don't know anything about customs and so maybe a pet shipper would be the better bet.

I have a male Rottweiler & miniature schnauzer and I’m trying to transport them from either Oregon or Seattle to Middle East in Bahrain. I already have Import permit from Bahrain, I just need a legit transport company. I received a quote for both of my dogs for the amount of $5,223 (Not including the customized crate for the Rottweiler) - That’s from a company called Pet Air Carrier. Now does this price seems legit ?
What companies that ship overseas that you would suggest ? The one i was able to find is Lufthansa Cargo.

Hi Leo, we are moving to Mexico from New Zealand, we've been told our pet transport company here can only get us as far as LAX & we will need to find another company in LA to handle the connecting flight to Mexico but anyone we contact passes us onto another company after 5 companies we're not sure what we should do? I guess you are being denied because of all the work that would need to be done to get the medical paperwork required to get the dog from USA to Mexico. The NZ health certificate would no longer be valid, as the pet would be considered “American” the moment of landing in LA.
The pet would need kenneling for a few days; vet visits… complicated.

@AJ ATL Everything I've been reading seems that you cannot import pitbull dogs to Thailand. Maybe there is some loop hole or something but that would seem to be a big risk to take.

"Individuals are not allowed to book something as cargo" you need to clarify because I have personally booked cargo tickets for my puppies directly through the airline, and they were well equipped to provide that service to me. What makes you different from anyone else? You're able to book cargo tickets but other people can't??? Please explain because based on my experience this is an untrue statement aka a lie.

Hello Leo, we are moving to Brazil and we have a American Sttafordshire Terrier and unfortunately none of the airlines are taking Amstaffs. getting some quotes but 2 quotes from moving companies are $2,100 to $2,600. my ticket is $270 one way

Hello, i want to adopt a puppy and i saw an ad of toy poodle with the social media of the person and the phone number of him.
I talked to him by whatsapp and i asked him multiple questions and to send the pics of the dog and his stuff.
The price is 1800 AED which means 500$.
My question is: do puppy scammers tend to have payment through bank transfer? And do honest puppy sellers tend to use payment as cash on delivery?
Never buy animals online. Always but in person.

You cannot take bullys as checked baggage on any US airline. There’s a couple local cargo airlines that do. You’ll need to find a pet shipper in Miami to book that for you.

I don’t think there’s a route at this time for pitties to travel by air to South Asia unless it is a Lufthansa or KLM destination airport, either travel via Europe. :(
