may i ask a question please,
i know you said this is medium weight yarn and you are using 3.5mm hook
but in the usa is this considered worsted weight ,or
sport/DK yarn ?i keep trying different hooks with the worsted weight yarn i have and no matter what it’s a mess.i know it’s an easy pattern once i get the yarn problem figured

It’s DK yarn, I advise you use the recommended hook size of the yarn you are using

Increasing every row at the top, count your stitches to make sure you have increased by 1 on every row.

In this exact top, I literally showed you from row 1 to row 4 of the same process. I really don’t understand when you say I only do 1 row. Watch again from from min 2:30 to 6:20, that is me explaining the exact same process with 4 rows!
