I’ve had white dragon fruit but now red. The white dragon fruit is actually sorta bland, and unless mine was faulty, my taste buds don’t lie. Oh and the seeds have a grainy texture and are pretty crunchy. Tasty too. I think you can roast them and eat them like that too

I totally agree on the white dragon fruit. Although I find them to be less bland when cold, but I might be just imagining 😁
Have you ever tried the yellow one? I wonder where that one falls tastewise compared to the others.

Are they sour like a kiwi? And if so is one colour more sour than the other?

We just taste-tested both fruits together with a Sungold kiwi for you 😁
Didn t notice any sour notes in white df, little, barely noticeable acidity in red df, pleasent sourness in golden kiwi.
All three fruits have similar texture.

Very bland but filling ! I have never tasted a ripe one in the place they are grown. Just found out their origins are in Mexico, Central America to the tropical parts of South America. They have been introduced to Asia. I bet ripe ones picked and sold nearby are much better tasting than the overpriced ones in U.S. supermarkets !

Well I have a taste problem with any fruit sold in American supermarkets ! Picked unripe and even when “ripened” after picking very bland tasting !☹️

@@IvanKosta-dv5mw Good point: I remember the mangos we used to get at German supermarkets were often rather sour, compared to the sweet and juicy ones here in Singapore.
