Maintenance Free Battery: Is it worth it?

There are 12V car batteries that need regular maintenance every month, every 2 months or every 6 months with cleaning of terminals, in addition to completing the electrolyte lost by evaporation.
These inconveniences are very frequent in batteries that need maintenance but there are also so-called "MAINTENANCE FREE BATTERIES" or "MAINTENANCE FREE BATTERIES" in English.
Maintenance-free batteries practically do not need maintenance, we must not add distilled water to complete the electrolyte because the loss is very small since it recovers the evaporated electrolyte almost in its entirety and is returned to the interior of the battery.
The only maintenance that a maintenance-free battery needs is cleaning the terminals and posts.
