For that money I want all of those probes to be replaceable.

So you get 1 or 2 years out of the probe but the probe is attached to the device. Does this mean I have to buy another device in 2 years? Good thing i saw this right before I put it in my cart. When you release a device that has a replaceable probe let me know. I'll buy it then.

I checked out the website and it looks like they did make it detachable now.

Precisely. The EC meter is permanently attached but, the pH probes are replaceable.
