Hi, Linda. I love your videos! I am becoming quite entheusastic with the idea of starting a new quilt. I have been looking at EPP for quite some time and love the look of the Lucy Boston quilt. I would prefer to hand or machine piece the blocks. EPP only appeals to me in the sense of the outcome. I cannot fathom cutting paper templates (or purchasing them) and the thought of basting and later on removing the papers feels like wasted time and effort! I once saw an antique Grandmother's Flower Garden top that had not been quilted yet. Looking at the backside, I found it was not paper pieced, but sewn with running stitches--and that is so sensible and efficient. After much more research, I found your RUclips channel, and boy am I ever glad! ❤ All the best to Monkey.
Great information. I have been quilting with freezer paper since the 80s. I have taken up EPP since 2019.I am now stuck in a chair doing handwork since I started cancer treatments in 2121. Lucy Boston is I block I was thinking of doing soon. I was thrilled to find your channel. You won't remember me but we were in email groups together doing the dear Jane quilt. Also while you were designing the diamonds. I bought your book and started some of them. That project got lost when I had to move from CO to WA. Then caring for mothers interfered with many projects. I am delighted to see what you are doing now. You are right in everything you said about freezer paper.
I really think that this video is excellent, especially if you want or interested in epp.
Thank you very much, Susan. I'm glad you like it. Thank you for letting me know.

Linda, thanks so much for your great instructions🤗. Soon as I am through making face masks, I’m going to start using this method. 🤗❤️🙋🏻♀️
Thank you, Lynne. I am almost finished making face masks now. It feels good to do something that could help, doesn't it? Then we can play!

Thank you very much for your comment, Qltnut! Freezer paper does it all. And best wishes for successful treatment and many more years of quilting!

Bonjour Brigitte,
Je vous répondrai par mail aujourd'hui. Linda
Before ironing the freezer paper to the fabric, what do you think of making a 2 or 3 layer template to make it bit sturdier?
That i a good question, Susan. I sometimes do that but most of the time one layer is enough.
