Just picked up the trilogy during the steam summer sale and I’ve been hooked on shadowrun, like a modern fallout 1/2, turn based isometric view, cover mechanics, plenty of different builds. Man what a gem I’ve been comatose on
I had an installed copy of the game for 2 years, but I was too lazy to play. And over the past 15 days, I have already completed parts 1 and 2. This is a really good isometric RPG.
I'd recommend the Sega Genesis Shadowrun. It's not turn based, but gives a much richer universe than the Shadowrun Returns triology. A lot longer playtime as well.
I also think the intro in shadowrun returns references the intro in shadowrun for the sega genesis in the first few notes. You'd have to listen pretty hard to hear it though.

Marshall Parker and Sam Powell, composers of the OST for Shadowrun on the SNES and SEGA Genesis. Brilliant.

@@Terminally_Radical Could be, because both of the musicians worked on this one. Sadly, I'm not familiar with the genesis version.
@@Terminally_Radical It uses a bit from the track Morgue from the SNES soundtrack. Also Double Cross leans heavily into it as well.
Man, i love the main theme 🤩
just love that feeling 🥰 the future is now
Oh how I love the title track!

Double cross is the best one.

Unassailable proof that 16 bits is all you need, chummer.
But... this is Shadowrun "Returns"
thanks for the upload, good picture choice
I wish the sounds were more like the earlier games. It's similar but games these days always make their music more ambient than they used to
Especially because there's no voice acting in this game so no need to tone down the background.
Cool)). Thanks)
Too Quiet starts 45:20 not 47:00
If you guys want more of this whole edgy Cyberpunk feel of music, give a listen to the soundtrack of Shadow The Hedgehog (2005)
💗🙏🏼
Did Sam Powell write Null Sheen?
Dwarves are way undersized in shadowrun they are soposed to just be head and shoulders shorter than a man
Double Cross immediate banger.
