Good kata. it’s interesting that the Meibukan dojo (Yagi) has the jumping front kick in the initial sequence while most other traditional Goju Ryu schools don’t. I think both versions are great. Yagi learned the kata straight from Chojun Miyagi, but so did the senior people at the other Goju school. I wonder which version is correct.
That's not the authentic & traditional Kata! Only a Tournament Style, without Character... Why?! Is the original traditional Kata not good enough for the real Tournaments ?!? Eben i see Morio Higaonna Sensei, than i see all the Importamt Things about the Kata💪🏻👍🏻✌🏻 Best Wishes Armin 🇩🇪
You'll have to inquire of the braindead WKF who decided how these forms ought to be executed. In the OKIC 2022 program website there are at least four versions of every kata deemed acceptable. Perhaps WKF are seeking standardization for tournament purposes. So much for tradition.

En général, les katas de compétitions, sont différents des katas traditionnels, vous avez raison.

Ikr I wish you could compete and do traditional kata, I don’t see the point of changing it for competitions
