Just discovered this channel, very glad, great job. Ich liebe auch dass du deutsch bist! P.S. the pretty thumbnail was a big reason why I clicked on the video
There is always a dress code, even with bags. The thing with bags is that not everyone has a car, indeed in some cities public transport and/or bicycles are more predominant than is USA, therefore just a slim attache or messenger bag is needed to get your groceries or other shopping. In Canada, few places will give bags out, so you will need some form of bag with you to carry that new wool overcoat you may have bought in the summer, or your groceries on your way home from work. I am glad you at least put in backpacks in a small way.
Good point. It's the same way in Berlin, so I typically bring a backpack to the grocery store and then have other bags for different purposes. It doesn't get as cold as Canada, though.
Love the video! Very good advice and quality. You are becoming one of my favorite fashion channels. I also would recommend Coronado Leather. They are a smaller Leather goods shop and I have personally bought several items and they give a different classic/Americana twist. Excellent video! Would you possible do a video on cold weather accessories: Gloves, Scarves and Hats?
Thank you very much :) I'm glad to hear that. Thank you for the tip. I'll include them in the list in the description. Sure, I'll put it on my list for video ideas. Thanks for the suggestion.
Great insights and information as always, my friend! As someone who lives out of a suitcase, carries a briefcase and a camera backpack, as well as using totes and messengers, I can tell you that having the right bag for any particular job makes it much easier!
Great article about bags. Now it's time for an article about gloves and whether black leather gloves should be worn with black shoes or can we wear black with brown shoes as well?
Good idea :) I'll put it on my video list. In a perfect world, it should be pretty similar to the shoes, colorwise, but we can't always buy gloves for each shoe we own.
Ideally, it would be somewhat similar in color, but I wouldn't worry too much about it. Bags are just too pricey to have one for each color of shoes. I'd get one that's in a similar color to the shoes you wear the most.
The briefcase James Bond used in "From Russia With Love" is still available at Swaine London. I consider an expandable briefcase a necessity and because a briefcase lays flat it is considered a personal item for air travel, so it's nice to have a sleeve you can slide the briefcase over your extendable wheeled carry on luggage handle. I chose the Briggs and Riley large briefcase because it expands a full 2 inches. It's ballistic nylon rather than leather, which isn't as fancy as James Bond, but I don't have to worry about the leather being scratched. Thank you for your great video review.
Good morning from ny...informative article....all guys should invest in at least 1-2 bags...why?? You are going 2 need it sooner than you think...Lukas keep it up...peace
As someone who rode motorcycle to work on the daily basis, a nice and simple leather backpack would be a better choice since the bag would stay on your back all the time and being made from leather would elevate the looks. I have been eyeing one from Motherhouse of late, a brand from Japan. Specifically the Antique Square Backpack model in dark brown.
They are the same bag designs just different materials. Canvas for the younger and casual person, leather for the mature professional. Rubber shoes for the mall but loafers/leather sneakers for style. It's really the material that's changes everything
Do you have any brand recommendations? Please comment them below and I'll add them to the video description. Thank you 🙏
Awesome episode ❗🔥💯👍

You definitely know quite a bit about the subject :)
@@Lukas_Schanderl I'm always looking to learn more though! :)

Do you have a link to that Japanese canvas tote? Looks dashing.
Thank you :)
I wish I could share it, but I bought it second hand.
The brand is: "Under Canvas", if that helps.
@@Lukas_Schanderl Thanks for the hint! Seems the brand is called Takeyari, their stuff appears available in Rakuten.
Thank you :)
Excellent video just what I was looking for
Thank you 🙏
@Lukas_Schanderl should the leather on your bag match your shoes?

That does look like a very convenient, well-designed briefcase made for travelling. Great choice 👌

Thank you, Kenneth 🙏 I totally agree
Beautiful Coat! Where did you find it?
Thank you 🙏 I found it second hand on Vinted.
Thank You for your answer! Could you tell me kindly the name of the Brand? Grüße aus Frankfurt :)

Good point :) I just looked it up, that's a very nice, minimal backpack. Great choice
Also make sure the zipper is quality YKK. Picked up an expensive leather backpack where the zip stopped working.
Thanks for the tip. That's a good point
Thank you Nanami san
Thank you 👌
Kleinigkeiten, auf was zum Kauf zu achten ist, bringen signifikant Mehrwert für mich persönlich. Sowohl Material, Markenempfehlungen etc
Danke dir :) Darauf sollte ich zukünftig noch mehr eingehen.

Good point. You're right, the material does play a big role in terms of the final style
