Satanic metal would actually fall under the biblical theme since he is a character in many of those stories. It doesn't matter if you favor God over the Devil, or Cloud over Sephiroth, or Loki over Odin, or vice versa.

Many bands have their various fantasy themes from Lord of the Rings to the Bible to Norse Mythology to Final Fantasy, and you shouldn't hold a theme against the band.

Fuck religion; it's the reason why this world is broken apart... not all Black Metal are absolutely antichrist/satanic, and there are even some Power Metal (yes, an innocent badass subgenre of metal) which speak of Lucifer and Satan and Jesus and all that shit, I mean heck, it's an art since they're names are being mentioned within the song, and that's what makes Metal truly the best... it's like poetry; never taken literally

If you believe the problems with religion are anything more or less than the product of an inherently flawed human nature, you've got something to learn about critical thinking.
