WoW you use some very interesting technics! Loved the sketch intersection! Never saw it used before! This could come very handy! Thanks! Good video!
These two techniques are powerful in their own right. Sometimes one works better depending on the application. I have noticed it can be difficult to thicken or shell one way compared to another.
Really insightful and a great technique to add to the skillset.

Thanks for this. The extrude, loft and stitch method means I can create 3D-printable boat hulls now!
Thanks, this helped a lot. I was always trying Loft in Solid tool set and it's much worse.
I usually design in rhino, but I am getting into Fusion 360 for its huge capabilities, especially the simulation ones. Do you have any video about boat structural simulation?

Can Fusion unwrap or unroll the hullsides to get them CNC cut?
Unfortunately not, or not yet. The only way to do that is to use a service like ExactFlat and unfortunately, that's not cheap!
@@Fusion360NewbiesPlus Thank you, that is the problem with most CAD-Apps. When it comes to production it is impossible or extreme expensive… ;-)

I don't understand what you mean with " lines plan"?
@@Fusion360NewbiesPlus it something like ship design in naval engineering but still in 2d form, you can check the picture in Google
