It’s really sick that he’s ACTUALLY showing off more of his actual chest range, the fact that he only would ever go down to an A1 in chest was holding him back from really showing people what he can do altho it could be possible his voice would be higher at times, plus he sounds awesome when doing it, and as well subs and growls as good as ever
@@chrismartinez144 that is correct, but when u look forward in time he’s only been doing more subharmonics when hitting his G#1’s and lower and he’ll always go to a growl on a G1 and lower, and not to say that it’s necessarily a bad thing but people love hearing chest voice low notes, including myself obviously, it really ends up showing people how low they can go normally, but Geoff on his channel always said he normally only hits A1’s, as time went on after that video it seems like he’s more comfortable doing G#1’s and lower to an F#1, and that’s the farthest he’s ever shown us and this was when time went on after talking about his A’s, so that’s basically what I meant by that
Hmm did he stop doing super low chest notes at some point? Like did he stop doing chest G1s and G#1s at some point? Hmm my understanding (from watching those How to Sing Low videos of his) is that his chest voice on a typical day bottoms out at an A1. the songs nowadays where he does chest G1s and F#1s are not representative of his range on a typical day. And many, many years ago when he was doing chest G1s in songs like White Christmas and the Disney on Broadway medley, I don’t think that was representative of his range either. chest notes beneath A1 have always been uncommon for him. that’s because those notes have always been outside of his range on a typical day. The high note is an E6 - yes, crazy high. (That’s the same high note as in Phantom of the Opera.) Garozzo in this medley plays the role of The Voice. Even if you're being skeptical and conservative with your definition of range, Geoff's range would still be G1-Bb4 in pure chest voice (notice how easy the G1 at 10:40 is and the Bb4 at 23:22) which would still be over 3 octaves, and with just a slight bit less skepticism and conservatism, it would be E1-A5, over 4 octaves (his E1s are just insanely awesome sounding and he already said A5 isn't too challenging.) These highs are taken from recent videos so it's not like his voice has gotten deeper from those high notes. This man is simply incredible.

Nice updated vocal range video, but I just have one question. Why is Geoffs G1 from their Aca Disney video never included in any of these vocal range videos, I think its one of his most impressive ones. Is the note lowered by an octave in post production or something?
his range is the full male voice, Basso Profundo, Bass, Baritone, Tenor, and Counter-tenor. Well might as practice to achieve this too since I have a vocal range of G0-E6
For E6,That means for Geoff to practice whittle register, he already have chest and mixed notes, for G0 probably he will use subharmonic for that. I think he can do that challenge. It that your vocal range ( G0- E6) what vocal type is that, probably bass.

@@SomeoneWhoHere yeah but my high notes are nothing to brag about. I think its more useful being able to sing high even though low sounds cooler sometimes lol
About the same. I think, Tim's voice is slightly lower. An interesting similarity is that both told in interviews that they got the low range when they tried to extend their upper range, especially the upper end of their chest voice. So, probably, the training on the muscles in their larynx had increased their mass and, thus, lead to a lower speaking voice and an impressive lower range. There is a video on RUclips on Bass Singer's Speaking Voices where you can compare the speaking voices of even more basses like Avi etc.
He said himself that he lacks resonance below D2. So he has got almost an octave of not usable off mike chest range. That's not very technical. Also, imo, his singing position is a bit too "closed". Geoff doesn't open his mouth enough to make the sound come out freely most of the time, I'm not sure why thought. This is probably the reason of why he lacks resonance compared to, for example, Avi, who can go up to G1 chest lowest, but can produce loud AF B1s compared to Geoff, who can go up to F#1 but lacks resonance past only D2 from his own words. I'm not trying to say that Geoff is a bad singer. I just wanna say, that he's not the most technical one, but he knows it and tries to compromise it in any possible way
Noticed that to, but because of that his falsettos sound great. Great control over all but he’s using the same amount of pressure needed for lower notes and higher higher notes on the mid notes which would probably cause discomfort
He can sing both like an octave lower (i can get down there but not as cleanly) and a few semitones higher in both chest and head voice. I cant belt that b4

U had "Chest note" almost halfway the video. Weren't some of the notes subharmonics 👀
yep and it said when.
@@Marcell0Bass oh cool. These are fun to watch. All the videos that gave me goosebumps combined. 😌
amazing
For the Little Mermaid Medley, when he started that run in "Poor Unfortunate Souls" and ended with that D1, where did he start off at?
D5
Cmon be my baby cmon
He looks and sounds like a young version of richard sterban
Will Geoff ever hit a chest note lower than f#1
Tim Foust lowest chest note is: G1 in Moonshine.
@@deanmarion5477 he also does his lowest chest note in what christmas means to me and hillbilly bone
@@lisascott598: in chest fry and chest.
@@deanmarion5477 F#1 is his record lowest chest note and daily it’s an A1.
@@evansbat: 👌
I presume the Voiceplay Halo video dropped not long after this came out because, well, Geoff dips lower than ever to hit a G0 (or G#0 I forget)
B0
3:01 - Any context for why Antonio Fernandez is performing with VoicePlay in this video?
Layne probably wasn’t available
Don't lie... we all came for the low notes
Jeоff is the most technical bass
He sure is
He said himself that he lacks resonance below D2.

I love the transition between Daddy Sang Bass and My Mother Told Me
Can somebody PLEASE tell me the name of the clip that starts around 26:20?
Thank you!
Grace Kelly with Toxic Audio :)
@@maeco7 Thanks so much!
He has a bit of a tension problem with anything above middle C in chest, but a great singer no doubt!
It’s kind of his style. He sings quite quietly as well so that might be why
@@Marcell0Bass Definitely a factor. Great video btw
Noticed that to, but because of that his falsettos sound great. Great control over all but he’s using the same amount of pressure needed for lower notes and higher higher notes on the mid notes which would probably cause discomfort
Make an updated list please!!!!
He can sing both like an octave lower (i can get down there but not as cleanly) and a few semitones higher in both chest and head voice. I cant belt that b4
What is your vocal range
Those high ones aren't chest, tho this character claims so. Tenors start at mixed usually at e4-g4
7:03 did you just get bored?
The B4's sound like mix 🤨
Also Eb5 in Queen in 5 Minute
23:33 Bb4 is also mixed for sure
You play cello?
I did at one point 😂
