Drill- Packedge in typical box, came with a tool bag (added bonus), two batteries, one charger, drill, and driver. Two words "plenty of Torque" ruclips.net/user/postUgkxW1vOBRCMrgTCDEijzpVzDWsgI-Jm2iQv well I guess that's three. Nice upgrade from current setup. Has belt clips, I don't think I will be using those. Driver and drill were bigger than what I expected but it is an upgrade from the current setup. For the money I would say that this is a great setup for Professionals and DIY/Weekend warriors.
I was literally just thinking about this the other day, it's so handy. Also, don't forget a magnetic extension for drills that are just the keyless chucks. Easy to swap compared to loosening and tightening the chuck again, too fumbly.
Oh my goodness this is exactly what I needed to know. My socket wrench blew out after the 3rd bolt ( It is over 30 years old) But it has a drill adapter in the set, never thought to use my drill instead. Now I can get the drive belt on my car and have wheels tomorrow. Thanks for the useful video!
Lowes sells these in a sweet rated for impact driver for about the same price. The type shown here will deform in your impact driver chuck and will be stuck forever. I have done it with an impact driver and a quick change drill bit. The extra dollar or two is worth saving your expensive tool from letting you down when you need it.
Hey I keep reading we shouldn't use chromium sockets with power tools because it can shatter them. Only use impact sockets with impact drivers. But can't we use chrome sockets with a regular drill? A normal drill doesn't have as much torque or power as an impact driver. I saw you using a chrome socket with a drill? Is that safe?
It should be fine with a drill, they can shatter but only really if you're putting a lot of stress on them. A drill won't have enough torque to shatter one. If you're worried about it just drive the bolts in until they're snug and then do the last few turns by hand to get them good and tight
John Young I brought some from ace hardware and on the second time I used them I snapped the 3/8 adapter in half so I wouldn’t say the quality is too great
Ive been reading and watching videos where people say to never use your wrench sockets this way because it causes too much weae and eventual breakdown of the sockets. They were not made with the intention of using them in an impact drill. Anyones thoughts?
Break loose with a hand wrench first then use the drill attachment to make quick work of it. If you're using impact sockets then it doesn't matter they are much thicker than normal sockets and made for use on high torque air tools.
Old comment but I'm in the same boat. Ended up using a damn sledge to get the thing in, then a sledging a screwdriver bit the opposite way to pop it out, after placing it on a hole to brace it. Seems it will loosen the little ball bearing thing a bit over time.
@RUclips Fan what he really means is you don't use standard sockets on an impact tool because they may break. Impact sockets are the ones you want to use. Impact sockets are usually black.
I wish that more youtube videos were this concise and to the point. Thanks man!
2nd that!

I purchased one at harbor freight for $4.99. Best tool to have for auto repair.
Their Warrior brand is often $3 or so. They have a Bauer impact rated set for $6 and I believe a Hercules impact rated set for around $10 as well.
@@roomservicetaco I purchased one the other day. I still can not remove my lug nuts from my car with it. Do I need a longer or bigger size socket ?

Great video and also you did really good at articulating the information needed without excess, unnecessary talking.

shakyzeg so which one you recommend. A link would be good 😉
Special (softer, chrome molybdenum) sockets (and the adapters) are recommended for impact drivers.
Thank you so much for a no frills explanation. 🙏🏽
That’s only for light work if working on engines or trans just used the air gun for better results
thanks I never thought to get one because I thought my set came with one too :)
Why use a drill vs a driver with this? Have drill but don't want to buy a driver unless need. Is it just torque?

Wondering the same thing.

Ace Hardware has the 1/4 and 3/8 adapters (Craftsman) for $3.59 for cheapskates like me who don't have half-inch drive sockets.
John Young I brought some from ace hardware and on the second time I used them I snapped the 3/8 adapter in half so I wouldn’t say the quality is too great
make sure sockets are impact rated.
Are some just made of cheap metal and might strip..?
Wow thank you very much for the information you shared
Had the info i was trying to find out. Thank you!
very handy tool , must have . thanks, helped me a lot
can i use that adapter on my hammer drill with cord?
Thanks for this review
I got bit drivers in my set that will fit into the drill but that takes to long to change sizes
Any make these for half inch drill chuck, these all snap

Just the facts .
Thank you!!!
Mine won't fit in the socket gator grip that it came with. Why I'm here. :( yet yours just pop in.

Cool
WHAT I JUST FOUND OUT ABOUT THESE I TAKE EVERYTHING OFF BY HAND AND SOMETIMES THEYRE SO TIGHT IT TAKES ME HOURS TO TAKE ONE OFF AHAHAHA WHAT
You don’t use chrome sockets on a compact drill😂

"This is dumb." :-)
To the point
