It's always a good day when you post a new video. Today is even better with a friend in your shop. What is most important? Having fun doing what you enjoy.
This is just great to see two great blacksmiths. Forgein tools together. Great Team work. Awesome job. Great work. Very nice video today. Hopefully you both get great use out of them for many years to come my friends. Can't wait to see more videos soon from both of you. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friends. Forge On. Fab On. Weld On. Keep forge Lit. Keep Making. God Bless.
love the comedy, very funny, always "A" grade work with beautiful design pairing perfectly with function. A true master craftsman here, take note......"This is what qualifies as a master in their trade.
@@torbjornahman Howdy 🤠 Sir,. ( I'm ) Not to much on speaking English 😆 but I can assure you , y'all came in perfectly clear in Texan! Most fun watch of the Year Blessings aboundant to both y'all now Crawford out 🙏🔥⚒️🧙🏼♂️
Loved it! Apart from the metalworking, what i liked most on this video is that with the modern machinery some crafts are one man show. But this video, remind us that forging as many crafts its a work of two or more people working in full harmony (parallel hammer hitting like Damascus foundries). A master and apprentice, an ancient idea, worked for thousands of years, in most of the crafts. We are trying to erease dependence on other people when people are all we need. But alas, when technology goes dark, the old ways come up. The old ways, never die, they remind us we once as spieces crawled before we walked. You didn't made collaboration, you made poetry for anyone who can understand. Thank you!
My god… I can’t get over how awesome that power hammer is… I built a heavy sledgehammer on a treadle/pulley mechanism so I could put different hammerheads on the handle… but idk if I could get it to be as powerful as hydraulics.
Could you please make your videos longer, I always look forward to new ones, but they're never long enough, I always learn something new every time I watch one of your videos, thanks.
Teamwork is Dreamwork. Nice collaboration, terrific fun and excellent videography. Fullers are fantastic and work a treat. Thank you Both for the fun ride! ~PJ
My favourite blacksmiths working together, great video,👍. Do you live in the same neighbourhood? Nice to see you cooperating together on a project, enjoyed hearing you communicate in Swedish as well. Looking forward to Nils dropping in for more videos. Regards from Down Under.
I always love Thunder Bear's magic tricks ... and conjuring Nils, and having the camera pan up from his shoes, was hysterical and highly welcome icing on the cake (cuz I subscribe to both channels). 😊👍
N00B QUESTION (2:07): Given the risk of sticking, would it make sense to use a graphite based release dab, when using the swage block, or would that just make a mess ?
@@torbjornahman I dont know why I felt the sudden urge to share this, but my late maternal great grandfather was a blacksmith before, and during, the American Civil War in the 1860's (union side). His son (my maternal grandfather] went on to become the lead engineer/salesman for a major explosives company, served in WWI as a demolition/explosives specialist, and later helped coordinate blasting for the great Delaware Water Gap (google it). I guess fire and steel are in the blood. 😁
Lovely work, It is good to see you swap lead hands on the sledge hammer...I am left handed but my power swing is with the left hand down the shaft and lead hand is the right one..
Artistry in motion. Almost like listening to some harmonic music and watching beautiful nature scenes. Need to get that Tubal-cain flowing in the blood.
Want one! Rite Torbjorn n Nilsogren Dudes, My Dad used to say to me "son when I nod my head you hit it". He never did know why he woke up in hospital🤣TFS, GB :)
Thanks to these good people for keeping the traditions alive.
