I love this! Living in NYC my whole life (raised in the suburbs), I fell into Kate Bush in college circa 2000 and Sophie a few years later. They're both incredibly talented artists that are long overdue getting their recognition in the states. At least Kate finally got into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame! (But yes, we did hear Sophie here in the states, if you were listening, and in gay bars.)
This song and album was such a huge part of my life when I was 21 (2001), the gay clubs went to every weekend played this song. Becoming the clubs unofficial anthem! I am so happy that the song is back the popular zeitgeist. Come to Canada and tour please
My shock is that this song is considered old! I had it classed as 'contemporary music of young people today' and I realise that my kids watched it on their music channel NEARLY TWENTY YEARS AGO!!! And then I remember my kids are now around 30 years old and... no, make it stop! (They said they are a little old for watching Saltburn and it is more for the young folk 😮😮😮😮😮😮)
How can Lorraine not even have the right info of it being on Amazon. She interviews in such a ditzy confused manner. The film is way more than “hilarious”.
love the irony of watching rich white women dance to this song on their tiktoks and instagrams after saltburn. the message shooting over their heads entirely
Sophie is having her Kate Bush moment and rightfully so. Her music helped define the 2000s and this song still sounds so fresh 20+ years later 🪩
We never heard it here over in the States.
@@thomashernandez8700 I recommend checking out her greatest hits album, Songs From The Kitchen Disco 🪩

Don't forget she also sings in Groovejet (If this ain't love) by Spiller. Another great song and I remember it being a big hit in Australia.
It was literally my favourite song when I was 8! So happy for her ❤❤❤
I am so glad that Sophie agreed to have the song used for the film as it was brilliant and such a great revival.
It is hard to believe that its been over 20 years. I'm glad she's getting her due again...and bringing back a resurgence of early 2000's dance.
I haven’t stopped listening to this song since it first came out
Me too
Same it’s always on workout mixes & roadtrip playlists. Seeing it comeback like this is wild
Her whole discography is really good. I'm glad she's having another moment.
she is still absolutely gorgeous

Sophie has aged well 😮
yes, she's a beauty and I even dare to say she looks better now then 22 years back, but "has aged" sounds like she's old - hey, she's only 44
Indeed. And had several kids during that time!
I BUMBED INTO SOPHIE ELLIS-BEXTOR ONCE IN PORTOBELLO MARKET AND SHE IS SUCH AN ANGEL ❤LOVE HER WORK!
my god she's still utterly gorgeous!
My God, she is more beautiful now than she already was 22 years ago.
I'm glad people are rediscovering this classic from early 2000's.
This song could be released in the 70's, in 00's, now or 20 years from now and it would be a smash hit every time!
I play this song almost every day to get me out of bed and going since the early aughts!
she always laughing and is more beautiful now than 20 years ago. nice!
I loved watching her at home Covid concerts.

I was born when the song came out 😂 so it is indeed a classic now
Afraid so. It's considered a golden oldie now!
The song is Extremally beautiful and funny.
It is Disco music. Love it
I love Sophie! I was so upset when she semi retired to have kids but so glad to know her music is making a resurgence!
I had this song stuck in my head for a week after viewing saltburn!
I’ve been a Sophie fan from day 1!
I think its great that this song has now a 2nd life thanks to this movie
brilliant choice of music for this film ending.
Sophie is so talented ❤
I bought that CD when it came out in 2001 and I just loved the song. I love the elements it seems to incorporate from 70's disco throughout it.
To describe Saltburn as "hilarious," is absolutely batshit insane.
Literally watching this movie rn

how lovely she is
I wish Sophie would tour the USA, too. Love her.
22 years ago. Was released at the end of 2001.
I remember when the song first came out in 2001
Never heard the song until the movie. I'm 49, and gay, how did I miss this one?
Yeah how did u! I'm 38 and gay and I've been listening to her since then. She's got lots of great songs. Get over you was out at thar time too.
94 millions and counting
She looks exactly the same!
what a sweet interviewer
When is Sophie coming to Washington, D.C.?
She's so talented...i loved her music since 2001 ❤❤
The thing is it still sounds like a modern dance song which speaks to the song
✨🎶✨ So great!
She is amazing. Love her song
She looks exactly the same as 23 years ago.
She's barely aged a day
I love you sophie ellis
Sophie doesn't look 20 yrs older...in fact she looks younger!!
🎉💃👏🧡 Congrats 👏
I’m sure it was on the Tourist season 1?
love the irony of watching rich white women dance to this song on their tiktoks and instagrams after saltburn. the message shooting over their heads entirely
What will it take for this song to get to number one. I am so frustrated . Forever love all songs by Sophie Ellis bextor .
Btw, if this ain't love....... get ittttttt
Iconica
I wondered why my 20 year old kept playing this song!
Is that her own estate she was dancing in? Jesus Christ.
Looked like the Saltburn estate?
Gorgeous
Chic?
She looks 19 herself. How does she have a 19 year old son?
she looks young but more mid 20’s
Eugenia Doubtfire Dear. 😂
