I've had my Xmaxx shocks bend just enough when you jump and bottom the shocks out the shafts were bent enough to keep the shocks compressed until I went and pulled it back up by hand 👍
You can't bottom out xmaxx shocks the chassis hits the ground way before the shock is fully compressed and the shock shaft is to short to reach the inside lid or bladder so they could never bottom out you can take em off the truck and remove the spring and fully compress the shock and the shock rod end will hit the bottom of the shock body before shock bottoms out so when you have the spring on the shock your never going to be able to bottom out a shock your shafts bent from to thick fluid and when you land hard the shock oil can't go through the piston holes fast enough so the shaft will bend. or landing badly like sideways.
