Or when someone has an order of 5-10 drinks from the KIOSK (it clearly tells them that boba is OPTIONAL and that they have to add it) and they’re like “whEreS tHe bObA?”. So now we have to remake EVERYTHING and it makes it harder for the employees and frustrating for the customers that have to wait longer😖
thank you joe for defending the employees, at my job we have mix ups and people take other peoples orders all the time and we get the blame when we have a screen full of orders and a line of people waiting, I dont know if you are doordash or if you are waiting for us to finish your order. shit can get hectic
Once when my son and I were at a Tim Horton's, the employee brought us someone else's drive thru order when we were standing at the counter. We just let one of the other employees know so they could make sure it got to the right person. Sometimes we have been left waiting a bit, yet I take into consideration if they are busy or the employee seem to be new or they are short staffed, and keep it polite.
My nephew graduated high school in 2022. So he didn't get the high school experience we all had. Make dumb mistakes and learn from them. Then you can laugh about that stuff 20 years later with your homies.

I don't like Starbucks at all but whenever they fuck up they definitely make up for it, one time I was in a semi busy Starbucks, the girl at register takes my order, couple minutes my name was called, I walk up some teenager grabs the drink, I have a common name so it happens, the girl at the register saw it happen, she finishes the line, goes through the left over orders realizes my drink was stolen, gets me my drink with a $25 gift card... That's service.
On what Joe was saying about good customer service, it fuckn sucks when you know the other employees don't give a fck and they mess up the order and now GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE needs to come fix the issue. Every fckn time.

I was in GM of a fast casual restaurant at 30 rock that avgd 1000 walk in customers and 100 Delivs every 10am-2pm weekdays....Never had more than 1-2 issues with top of planet earth volume with low paid employees....Case closed get it done but that dude gets elbow strikes all day lol
